“Standard level on European sky”
Review of Air France

Reviewed 29 June 2018

Middle class line in European sky, according to my short experience. Stewardess smiles, but looks tired. Landing in Paris was very hard. It is more like flying bus - but you are delivered from point A to point B, and this is the target.

TERRIBLE because when you pretend to be a national flag airlines, and not a low cost company, them you should work not as a low cost. TERRIBLE because you can't cancel the only direct fly, and told us 5 min before. TERRIBLE because if I pay a direct fly, what kind of stupid solution is a fly on Genova and then by autobus to Milan? TERRIBLE because France always have a bad word for the others, but finally they are like others if not worst. Never again, better low cost at least the price is less expensive for the same service, if not better.

This airline is very good, though they charge extra for everything related to getting a good seat. The seats are comfortable but short on leg room and the flight got a little too warm. The attendants were very friendly and helpful. The food and drink were very good - as we expected from Air France.

We regularly fly Business Class overseas and found the food to be the worst we’ve ever experienced. The chicken was like shoe leather, wine was not drinkable but the flight attendant gets a 10+ for trying to bring edible items.

Choice of movies were not great. Usually offer recent releases but not on either flight. Accommodations were excellent.

Air France is a mixed situation. You have to pay extra for a seat assignment- not great- but they were good on baggage. Food was reasonable- not wonderful but it was pretty good. We had two seats alone at the back of the plane- better than in the three rows. What is awful, and nothing can be done about it, is that it took us an hour and a half from checking in to get to our bate. There are fouur security or passport stops and all of them have lines- but the time you get to the international terminal you are strung out. I didn't mind Air France but there is nothing that would make me pick it over a different direct flight.
