I recently had the smoothest flight experience with Air Botswana BP207 from Gaborone to Joburg, and I have to give props to the amazing crew!

🛫 Pilots Gabedi & Andrew handled takeoff and landing like pros—barely felt a thing! Just as smooth as check-in with Dolores with her very welcoming smile.
🎷 Pre flight, we were welcomed with the saxophone sounds of Lister Boleseng's music, making the whole experience feel truly local.
🍽️ Onboard, we were treated to delicious local snacks, which was such a nice touch.
🛬 Landed right on time, feeling refreshed and taken care of thanks to the warm hospitality of Maipelo & Mmabatho.

Our group of 10 was traveling for a study abroad experience. Due to a delay in our flight from the U.S., we arrived at the gate for our connecting flight to Gaborone at 6:40 PM, hoping to make our 7:30 PM departure. However, we were shocked to find that our flight had already left and the gate closed. I then had to arrange hotel accommodations and book new flights for the following day. I was informed that, as this was an international flight, we should have arrived at least an hour earlier. I can understand if we arrived too late for the luggage to be transferred. But the plane was gone. Eventually, my students and I was given an e-ticket to flight on Air Botswana. This was not helpful. So we lost our money.

Not good. Flight cancelled 1 week before, and no other fliht booked. Any other flight that day are really expensive.
Do not use Air Botswana.

Disappointing Experiences with Air Botswana

I recently had the misfortune of flying with Air Botswana, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The airline consistently failed to meet expectations, with:

· Frequent flight delays
· Poor communication regarding schedule changes
· Lack of timely updates

As a result, our group missed a scheduled activity in Livingstone, causing inconvenience and financial losses.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Air Botswana to anyone. Their reliability and customer service fell far short of expectations.

I have been trying to make a flight reservation for October 23rd 2024, for the last 5 days now. The website is refusing my credit card information. Nobody is answering the phone. It seems that just making a reservation is impossible. Since you don't want my money, I will go with another company.
