Never ever book AIR BOTSWANA flights!!! There are constant cancellations. This has happened to me 3 times,one cannot even contact the airline as they will not answer your calls inorder to resolve your complaints or solve the problem.You will not even be reimbursed should you have a connecting flight or the need for hotel accommodation is needed due to them having no flights and it is late.My son who is a minor student was left stranded in Johannesburg airport .It was really a miserable frightening experience for my son as we were not in the same country.
We were due to travel to / from Maun with Air Botswana in November 2020 .
Obviously the U.K. was in lockdown then so could not go .We also could not go in November 2021 due to Botswana being on the Red List .
Finally we are able to go in November 2022 but Air Botswana refuse to give us a credit for the flights so force us to pay again .
The reputational damage to this airline is enormous from this shocking behaviour .
I hope everybody realises that this is the type of airline this is and avoid flying with them
First time experience was awesome with your flight, thank you for a wonderful time and service you deployed.
Once all the passengers had boarded, we left, 15 minutes early. We also arrived in Gaborone 15 minutes early. A light lunch was served and as many soft drinks as you liked. It was a smooth flight and although there were plenty of cloud formations, we flew round them. Then, as usual, we landed, light as a feather.
