I have to admit i like flying with Thomas Cook as I believe they are one of the best but on this occasion we were delayed on our home journey. Very good flight out and when we eventually took off three and a half hours late home it was a good flight. Our original flight had been changed from Thomas Cook to Avion Express and to be honest I didn't notice much difference but the uncertainty does not bode well when you are informed of this change a few weeks before your holiday. The staff were no different as far as I am aware and were as helpful as can be. I do think we could have had more updated information as we were actually sat on the aircraft, not in the airport lounge. To give this company its credit, it duly paid out compensation in line with what we were entitled and it was settled within a couple of days of my request. Will use again hoping for no delays next time.
