Took a week off and did the UK trip from Southampton to Belfast and Liverpool.

Only 1200 passengers on board so no busy areas or queues anywhere.

Excellent cabin (8286) and very very attentive staff. Jerome our cabin attendant was excellent and Brady and Yudha in the main restaurant was fantastic.

Selection of bars and drinks was brilliant. We had the drinks package so didn’t need to worry about the final bill.

Excellent shows too!

Only thing that annoyed me was, as soon as we boarded, and even got anywhere close to a lift to get to our rooms we were jumped on the buy dining packages.

We did visit wonderland. Staff were brilliant, food presentation was excellent. Food taste….. erm…. Not quite as good.

The ship is excellent and the staff are fantastic. Can’t wait to cruise again.

Currently on board the UK 5 day cruise which sailed from Southampton on the 20th Oct’21. A shambles from the start. If anyone has kids that need entertaining please think very hard before booking this cruise or any on Royal Caribbean. The kids club is closed for the 3 last days of the duration of the cruise because of an “issue”. There is nothing left for our son or the other children to do in our group as everything has been booked up. The system of booking restaurants and activities on the ship is flawed as people just start booking things and then just don’t turn up or cancel last minute leaving it impossible for the people whom actually wanted to dine in that speciality restaurant or experience the activities on the ship. Royal Caribbean needs to address this as everyone loses out and it’s just plain and simply bad management. The food on board is just mass produced without quality and pub grub at best. Very bland. The drinks are served without quality and care and simple cocktails are not known. If your drinking pints of beer or glasses of wine or fix then it’s ok for them to serve you = no effort. Last night in the music hall the waiter did not have one of our mixers and decided to tell us 30 minutes after we ordered, so we left without having any drinks. What added insult to injury was that he stank of cigarettes which indicated that he went for a smoke rather than fixing our drinks. The casino is closed for 2 days ! Another disappointment and told last minute whilst many people were waiting to gamble. The best part so far has been the waiters in the “my time dining restaurant” and the housekeeping although the ship is tired and worn and needs a refresh. Unfortunately the quality has not been there and it’s a real shame that there seems to be no leadership on board with the management team just full of excuses readily prepared for the huge amount of unhappy cruisers. Please think very carefully about booking the NOT so Royal Caribbean cruise

This was a round the UK cruise, The ship is beautiful & clean, the restaurant and room attendants could not do more to help. The food was excellent. we booked a disabled room which was big enough and had decent hand rails in shower and bathroom but not enough. Royal Caribbean need to provide more facilities for their disabled customers also better aids should be available to book for for specific requirements such as bed rails and extra hand grips for around toilets to assist getting around. A general shop would have been a big help for toiletries , medicines, books puzzles, electronic items.

We just returned from 6 nights around the UK and had a wonderful time. The weather was kind to us, the ships facilities were great and all of the staff were polite, helpful and friendly. The staff really make this holiday special . There was plenty to do and great evening entertainment but I think had the ship been at full capacity we may have struggled to book activities. The food was good as were the drinks. My sons loved our waiters in Silk Jayan and Imade and they both helped make my sons holiday special. Living in Southampton meant that travel was stress free. We will defiantly consider a European cruse when it becomes easier to travel again and there is a different ship to try.
