I often use Aurigny to fly to Southampton to get to other countries and honestly, it's a pretty good quality flight service. The prices are fairly cheap and the actual flight was comfortable and well-staffed.

Having purchased two Pret A Mange cappuccinos, we were told that they had to be confiscated by the steward when we boarded on our flight. Apparently they were a health and safety hazard. I’ve taken on board Pret cappuccinos many times previously on short and long haul flights with numerous airlines and never experienced such a policy. What was stranger was that mid flight, we were offered to purchase hot beverages! We asked for our beverages back, only to be informed by the same steward that they had been poured down the toilet. According to the same steward who confiscated our drinks, the staff of Aurigny were trained to deal with their hot beverages!! Whilst ‘not the end of the world’, the entire experience was bizarre. Suspect that the truth lay with Aurigny wishing to sell their beverages as a commercial policy, not as explained, one of health and safety. Perhaps a case of being honest with their customers would help with more positive reviews and customer satisfaction.
This airline sells seats on various portals in this instance Kiwi.com and justthe flight.com both good and reliable providers.
Bought two tickets and 5 hours Kiwi is notifies me that Aurigny have put the price up and do I want to cancel or pay more. This was a one way and having already paid the outbound with another airline I was left with no choice but to pay. This has happened over and over again with this airline in fact it is the only airline that ever does this to my bookings and I fly somewhere nearly every week so make a lot of bookings.
It seems like Aurigny do it deliberately to squeeze out the last drop of blood by someone sucking people in with fares they know they are not going to honour. I would not recommend anyone to use this airline. Use flights with Flybe, Blue Islands or get the ferry....anything except Aurigny unless you are desperate. For me NEVER AGAIN.
10 minute flight, in a very small plane of about 25 seats. the only option to fly to the island of Alderney. all flights in hour. Price expensive: 100 Pounds
I lived in Guernsey for most of my early life ans still visit friends and family over there occasionally. Using Aurigny is by far the most convenient way of getting to the island for us. The aircraft are comfortable and service is generally good. I did have a problem checking in my bags on the return journey unfortunately. The check-in clerk insisted my cabin bag was too large and it took quite an amount of persuading to actually get it accepted onto the aircraft. However, there really isn't an alternative for us, so we will continue to use the route.
