My fiance last year wore both cocktail and sundress...the only reason she even brought a cocktail dress was because of this forum...but...she was comfortable mostly with the sundress...Go with what makes you feel comfortable the lindo is a great place but no need to get that dressed up for a relaxing vacation...men long pants and nice shirt...i wore polo's and fitted in just fine
It is not that formal at the Lindo to wear cocktail/evening dresses a nice sundress and or capris is fine.
You don't even really need a dress unless you like to "dress up". Nice capris or a skirt are fine.
Thank you for your help! I am traveling with teenagers and would rather not bring formal dress attire if it isn't necessary.
A couple pairs of Capris with a few tops to mix 'n match will do fine. Long pants, sleeved/collard shirts for the men and no flip-flops.
