I read many blogs that said the best deals you can get for a cruise would be to show up in Ushuaia and hope for the best when it comes to last minute deals. Lots of the blogs are a few years old now - is this still a thing? Hoping to go in January with lots of flexibility.
I know your post is old - but just wanted to comment for anyone checking - we are traveling on Nov 5 with Hurtigruten on the Fridtjorf Nansen. Had to fill out a medical form from our doctor proving we are fit enough to go there, not sure how that would be possible if done last minute?
I am wondering the very same thing. Will already be in Chile with my husband. Could go Dec, Jan, or Feb. Would want an exterior cabin. Would like recommendations. Want really good naturalists.
