We are due to go to Peschiera del Garda Saturday 26th august with 3 young kids. Just checked the weather and it looks like it’s giving rain for the wk 😬
In anyone’s experience of going at that time of the year can it really rain for the full wk.

39 helpful votes Ignore the weather forecasts! They are only ever reliable for the following 24 hours, and even then they can get it wrong.
Forecasts usually show rain every day because it is always a possibility. In the summer months there can be short, sharp thunderstorms which clear up very quickly.
It is very unlikely to rain every day for a week.

Insert "provincia Verona" and "Peschiera del Garda" to have a local forecast.
So take an umbrella.
In practice, things generally work out much better than weather sites’ long range forecasts. It’s in their interests to forecast on the worse side, if you think about it.
