Planning a trip in May. A little confused about time zone changes.
Going to Monument valley from Sedona. I think we lose an hour.
Traveling from a monument valley to Antelope canyon, do we gain the hour back. Trying to make reservations and want to make sure we get there on time.

The View Hotel is located inside the Tribal Park and the Navajo Nation is on Mountain Time. Arizona (Sedona, Page, etc.) does not participate in daylight savings (March 13 to Nov 6). During daylight savings the state of Utah and the Navajo Nation are one hour later than Arizona. The Antelope Tours in Page keep to local Page time (Arizona time) to make it simple for you. So for your trip in May keep to Page (Arizona) time. You may notice your phone bouncing between the 2 time zones depending where you are in these areas.

15 helpful votes The simple answer to your question is that you are correct. Lose an hour at Monument Valley. Gain an hour when you are at Page.. i.e. 8 AM at Monument Valley is 7 AM in Page. It's a two hour drive from MV to Page.
How long of a drive is it from Monument Valley to Antelope slot canyons ?
