Excellent customer service - beautiful hotel!!

Question

My family and I stayed at the Best Western in Cascade Locks in January.  They gave us an excellent deal.  They are also one of the few properties in the gorge with an INDOOR POOL AND SPA!  That is a necessity when traveling with kids.

We have stayed with them several times over the last five years or so and they are contiually upgrading and adding things to make us more comfy.  Love the waffles and the new furniture and tile!

I have never stayed anywhere with employees like the Best Western; they treat you like they've known you for years.  The best customer service I've ever experienced at a hotel.

Thanks for the update, relish84! We have stayed in several Best Western properties and have enjoyed all of our stays at their properties here and there. Best Western hotels have very nice pool and jacuzzis in the places we have stayed. They are reasonable priced and as you mentioned, great for travels with kids. Sounds like you found a place that you love! :)

I stayed here last year and enjoyed my stay. There is a restaurant/hamburger spot next door that has good simple food. Easy drive across the Bridge of the Gods to visit the Gorge Museum. If In Cascade Locks in season - you can take the two hour Paddleboat tour out on the Columbia River,

This is not the hotel that the train runs next to is it? We left our stay early because of the noise...wish I could remember which one it was

Yes, the train runs by it in front - saw the tracks and maybe one train - don't remember being bothered by it though. The hamburger plaace was the Char Burger. Not fancy. Just convenient

Oh good, because that is where our reservations are for this coming weekend. I am happy I picked a good hotel without knowing it. I forgot to check on here first.
