Son's Wedding

We are staying in Long Branch, NJ. The family will be there from May 20-24 with the wedding on Sat., May 23 in the evening. What are some attractions (other than the beach) that the men can explore when the women are busy with wedding details?

Agree with Monmouth Park. Also Asbury Park is worth a visit.

How much time will they have, and what do they like to do? Monmouth Park races start around 1:00 and run until at least 5:00 pm. There are some fun bars in both Red Bank and Asbury Park (there's a new Beer Garden that just opened and is very popular). There's also a driving range nearby if the want to hit a bucket of golfballs, a bowling alley, or they could take a ride on the SeaStreak ferry, which cruises from NJ to Manhattan and back in about 2-1/2 hours. They will pass by the Statue of Liberty, cruise under the Verrazano and Brooklyn Bridges, and make stops at Wall Street and mid-town Manhattan. It's about $45 for a round trip ticket.
