I've been looking at the TA posts on Seminole and Miccosukee sites and saw some common complaints or comments. Perhaps, visitors should know that some Native Americans do NOT make eye contact--its a cultural thing, so as not to appear aggressive. Also, often the smaller a piece of native art or craft work, the higher the price, because it is very difficult to work on something so small--and exquisite.
I am not American Indian/Alaska Native, nor do I know these cultural norms hold true for either the Miccosukees or the Seminoles. They are certainly true with other Tribes in the US. Go with an open mind. And think out being on the receiving end of the promises that have been made to Tribes throughout history.
