T3 /new delhi railway station

Hotel has offered us taxi for 1,000 rs plus park fees at airport, how much is parking fees and is 1,000 fair? We are not far from new delhi rail and was thinking of metro express then tuk tuk approx half mile. Is this feasible (worth it?) cheers.

Rs 150 is parking/entry charge of T3 for commercial vehicle. If arriving at night then its not a bad deal and safer option.Prepaid cab should cost you around 450-500,never used them so cant tell you exact fare.Radio cab (Meru/mega) will cost you more, may be around 600-700,but vehicle will be a an AC mid segment sedan, its metred and you have to pay as per metre reading.Uber will cost around 400-500 (depending upon demand) including airport charge. So overall if it your 1st experience of India (and specially Delhi then 1k is not a bad deal after a long flight).

If wanted to use metro then T3 to New Delhi by metro,rs60 per head and 19 minute ride, then come out and take auto to Paharganj,rs 50 should be normal fare but as a foreigner expect to pay between 50 to 100 specially when you tell them that hotel is booked.Which hotel you are going?

Yes,not too expensive option and more than that safe and comfortable,no hassle of bargaining with auto drivers at New Delhi during very 1st hour of Delhi visit.

Cheers rahul, one more request.... ive been looking for waterparks that have metro station within tuk tuk distance this has, become a real chore for me as some are closed jan/ feb and this type of info is in short supply online. Drizzling land park and just chill waterpark is two that seem to be open but dont have a clue how to get to them, going by distance taxi would be more than its worth any ideas mate? Cheers ,leaving from connaught place.

You should check out the amusement park in Noida. It is next to the Great India Place mall and a short walking distance from Noida Sector 18 metro station. You can take a metro on the Blue Line from Connaught Place.

Personaly I think neither of the water park you mentioned is worth visit and effort to reach, dizzling is on highway away from Gaziabad, even the nearest metro station of Vaishali/Kaushanbi will be more than 20 km.Another one is also not looks to easy to reach, more than 15 km from Samaypurbadli/jahagirpuri metro station.

The one mention by MG is good (I had suggested in your previous post) but closed till March.
