I'm looking at these two hotels and wondering if anyone has any feedback. I love the location of both, the biggest difference would be the Komaneka comes with a private pool whereas the Kayon is just a room.
This would be for a trip during early March if that makes any difference. Thank you!

267 helpful votes I have not stayed at Kayon but it does look lovely.
I adored KMF. Customer service was wonderful, the private pool though brisk was very deep and refreshing. I love that they delivered breakfast to the room free of charge. Overall it will be far more walkable than the Kayon if you want to be in the heart of Ubud with lots of shops and restaurants close by.

Another vote for KMF from me. The staff are lovely.
The Kayon has private pool villas. Total privacy pool looks out over jungle. Lovely. On a hillside, you need to be fairly fit. Loved it. Haven't been to Komaneka.
