My mom is not a very good walker any more, but manage shorter trips around town. We can also get a car around if needed.
Will be staying at the Bella Vista hotel, and first thing to find is a sim card 😆the airport is closed when we arrive at 00.30.
Next is to find out, what we would like to see relatively close by.
She doesnt snorkle, but I will probably bring mine just for at little fun along the beach.
Of couse the airport will no tbe closed when you arrive at 00:30...
The shops are not closed??
The SIM card sellers will not miss this opportunity.

159 helpful votes Bella vista is a nice small hotel (although there's building work going on next door). Snorkeling off beach at hotel.
Phone stands will be open all the time flights are arriving so you can buy sim on arrival. Airport is never closed!
Get taxi to Marina, nice restaurants. Senzo mall if you want shopping. Take a boat trip for the day, dolphin watching. Snorkeling ideal.
Taxi to El gouna for the day, nice shops, restaurants, marina, beach, lagoons. Lagoon boat tour, tuc ruc ride.

You may have seen that for the duty free shop.

66 helpful votes The phone kiosks at Hurghada Airport are hit and miss , I've flown in at 11pm before and they have been closed, also flown later and they have been open.
Orange closes at Midnight from memory....
Bella vista is a small basic hotel but is centrally located and has a nice bar on its grounds called Caribbean Bar (Not part of AI) which serves fantastic cocktails.
You can purchase a SIM card across road from Hotel turning right.
I would visit Hurghada Museum and possibly the mosques as they are unique to Hurghada also Giftun Islands 👍🏽

I saw the huge mosque close by, so that would definitely be an option.
