Along with Showboat there's the Atlantic Palace (personally never stayed there). About a block off the boardwalk is the Courtyard Marriott and Wyndham Skyline, I've stayed at both of those and they're very good options.

Just beware, some of the non-casino motels are pretty sketchy.

I don't go to the non-casino hotels because they usually have something like a $20/day parking charge. I'm specifically referring to Claridge and ShowBoat.

I wouldn't pay a nickel to stay in either the Claridge or Showboat.

Thanks for the quick reply guys. Whats wrong with Claridge?? (the inside of Claridge reminded me a little of New Orleans.

I know Showboat allow dogs and pets.

And the closer to Pacific street it becomes "more ghetto".

I guess this narrows it down to Claridge and Atlantic Palace.

Thank you!

They charge for parking by the day. When you figure that into the total cost they end up more expensive than a competing casino hotel. Other than that really nothing. It has an indoor pool and everything.

We haven’t been to AC since 2016. We are staying at the showboat beginning of October for something around 50/night. It gets decent reviews, and we’ve stayed there when it was a casino, so figured why not. We will park at hard rock to avoid the daily parking fee.
