Caesars needs to be shut down

Question

After a visit to Mortons where I had an excellent dinner using Golden Nugget comp dollars, I decided to play a little at Caesars. There were several groups of people not wearing masks and no attempt at enforcement.  I walked the entire second floor and there were no security guards. This is dangerous even without Covid. I feel unfortunately that NJ needs to shut down business such as Ceasars that do not even attempt to enforce the regulations. One other note unlike the non Caesars properties in Atlantic City, the Caesars properties do not take your temperature at the entrance.

For my report to the governor...how long were you everywhere in the casino at once, such that you can say definitively there was no attempt at enforcing the mask rules?

I was at Borgata and Ocean this weekend and did not see anyone without a mask. Temperatures taken. Announcements made. Elevator limits were respected. People generally stayed away when on line for food etc. Both of these properties seem to be following all the rules.

We stayed in Caesars back in September, true they don't take temps but honestly not sure that's really helpful (some people won't have a temp if they're sick, some people have a temp for other reasons, I think that's a false sense of security). At that time everyone was wearing masks, everything nice and clean. :)

I was at the Borgata also this weekend and mask wearing was being enforced there and security was very visible. This was not the case at Caesars, so I did my gambling where conditions were safer.

Very few and poor safety measures taken at CET properties. Harrahs property so filthy. On the other hand every safety precaution is taken at Golden Nugget. Hotel extremely clean, hand sanitizer and wipes all over. Temperature taken and security is on top of proper mask wearing. Been multiple times and felt very safe at Golden Nugget

I found Bally's to be worse then Caesars, but I agree that CET is giving minimal effort to Covid precauations. Hard Rock and Ocean have become my new home base in AC. For 20+ years Ballys was my go-to casino; no more.

I have visited both Caesars and Bally's several times in the past few months. My most recent visit was two weeks ago. I never saw any patron maskless but several times I saw security guards ask players to pull masks up and over one's nose.

Caesars, Bally's, Harrah's, Tropicana do not take temperatures. Borgata, Hard Rock, Resorts, Ocean all take temperatures. I haven't been to Golden Nugget in over a year.

All casinos I've visited have plenty of hand sanitizer and many have wipes. Given the recent monthly casino revenue report, I would say there are many folks who have visited and made the best out of a less than ideal situation.

Your mileage will vary, what is clean to you may not be my interpretation. By now, if you're climbing the walls and need an outing, I see playing at a casino to be no worse than grocery shopping or going to Home Depot. Wear a mask, bring some pocket wipes and hand sanitizer, don't touch your eyes, nose, mouth. If you're retired, go during the week, there will be fewer crowds, mornings are the best.
