The Gov said today that new restrictions are coming soon to NJ. However, did not indicate what these restrictions would be or even if they will be more towards private gatherings or something else. Just wanted to put this out there just in case anyone is planning on booking AC in the coming weeks. If you book, make sure you have the ability to cancel.

If they enforced the current restrictions things would be better. I know a local restaurant that seems to be operating at 100% unchecked.

It's always good advice to only book at places with good cancellation policies!

This is one reason why I only book through the companies website and not through an aggregator.

What comes to mind is that right now is that the boardwalk casino hotels seem to have pretty good cancellation policies, but with Oceans you pay more for the privilege. I am not sure about some of the other places. Perhaps I should start a cancellation policy thread...

Sadly Atlantic City is now considered a “hot spot”. It’s unfortunate but the “arrow” seems to be pointing down right now. It should be interesting to see what the next steps will be especially with the holiday season rapidly approaching.
