how much cash is needed for 4 days in BiH?

We will drive from Una NP to Sarajava (Day 1), stay in Sarajava for one day (Day 2), visit Mostar (Day 3), and drive to Kotor (Day 4).

We have pre-paid all the hotel reservations.

Do most restaurants, museums in Sarajava, gas stations and national parks in this route accept credit cards?

Also, someone mentioned at Mostar many places accept euro or Croatia currency. Is that true?

If so, does that apply to other places in BiH?

I am trying to decide how much cash we need per person for this portion.

Many thanks.

Credit cards are quite widely accepted, but there are still smaller businesses which accept cash only. Public transport tickets, quite a few taxis, cafes and restaurants outside and even smaller ones in the bigger cities sometime do not have the card paying machine. For Mostar and Western Herzegovina it is correct, but the rest of Bosnia is mostly only Bosnian Mark used.

You can use a good route planner like Via Michelin to calculate fuel expenses - 1 liter gasoline costs in Bosnia around 2.2 BAM. For a meal, say, 15-25 BAM/person.
