Is it Ok To Book City Tours and Ocean Park or Disney land etc from Klook ,Viator,Asia Travel
Please Suggest as they are offering very attractive discounts or any other suggestions pls
Klook Is a travel network technology company, it is ok
Viator is a tour reseller. They don't operate any tours themselves. Anything they sell is typically at a substantial mark-up. Klook is an online travel agent (what is a "travel network technology company"?). Pricing seems to be more in line with a standard travel agent though not necessarily cheap when it comes to tour packages. If they offer discounted tickets to theme parks, then those are genuine and good deals if cheaper than what you find on the official websites.
I wouldn't bother with city tours in HK. You can get around yourself so easily.
i bought Disneyland and Ocean Park tickets from
klook. fuss free, easy to use and cheaper than at the door. but you do need to read carefully, sometimes the discounted tickets are only available if you buy in advance eg Ngong Ping
Klook and Viator's business model is pretty much the same: both are resellers, they don't operate the tours themselves (some exceptions in case of Klook, their Peak Tram "skip the line" ticket appears to be operated by themselves).
Klook is a Hong Kong registered travel agent. Viator is a foreign company.
I don't know Asia Travel.
Viator is owned by TripAdvisor.
I've used Klook multiple time for multiple countries including Hong Kong and have never had any problems with them. It's also very convenient as most of the time, you only need to show the voucher on your mobile. There are also items which you can buy on the same day so you can adjust your itinerary as needed or compare the prices at the very same shop before purchasing. They also have various promotions, discounts and points. Just a few weeks ago, they offered "buy 1 get 1" tickets for Ocean Park in HK. Another perk is a special line for some attractions like a Fast-track peak tram or for the cable car in Ngong Ping.
There are certainly other shops which may offer better rates than Klook for specific items but if you do not have time to shop around, Klook's prices are already very competitive. For HK city tours though, like what SammyF1oyd mentioned, you can easily do it on your own.
