Just left Naxos and loved the donut guy who walks along the beach selling delicious donuts. Does anyone know anything about him? The only thing I could find is that he’s been doing this for 20+ years.

Oh no I just had a flash back to when I was a rep in Rethymnon many years ago. The donut man walked down the beach selling them on a tray. I then watched him put the tray on a sun bed, walk knee high into the sea, relieve himself (not wash his hands!!!) then carried on selling the donuts 😂
Edited: 2 years agoFor me this is an “Absolutele No No”. Never buy from beach vendors! No matter where in the world. Chinese masseuse on Ag Anna & Ag Prokopios beach the same - they splash their hands in the sea after each client and dry them on their clothing.
Have to add, in a world of ‘Covid paranoia’ why on earth would you?
BTW, Am currently in Naxos on my umpteenth visit and loving it!
Anyway, if you mean loukoumades, you can buy them in a bakery and bring them to the beach with you.
@Engineer-thanks, that was just the type of crazy story I am not surprised.
@Heimdall—thanks for the name!
