Ferrari's Crown Resort in Kings Beach would meet your needs. It's not elegant, but it's very clean and it's lakefront.

For my out of town stays, I generally use VRBO. I've found some great places for reasonable rates. Unfortunately, July is a busy month and owners may only rent by the week. It wouldn't hurt to check.

Although this is not on the lake, some units have lake views: Carnelian Woods in Carnelian Bay. We used to stay at a condo there every summer when our daughter was young. They have a nice pool and a game room. At the entrance to the driveway into the complex is a miniature golf course that our daughter loved.

Ferrari's Crown Resort in King's Beach really meets your needs in your price range. They have a water activity desk on the beach, pools, hot tubs and BBQs.
