Hi we will be in Vancouver for the first time this summer, in august. I would like to get recommendation of what should we visit. What about cycling tour, do you recommend this option?

Hmmm, well I've been here most of my life and still have a list of things that I want to do or see, so trying to pick from that list to tell you want to do in two days is a little challenging. I could just toss out the BC Sports Hall of Fame, a cruise up Indian Arm and dinner at the Tiki Room, but that's MY list of things to do, not yours.
Maybe start with the list on the Vancouver Tourism page, or do a search for "Vancouver top ten" to get ideas.

Are you going to be here for 2 full days, which means 3 nights? Or does it mean 2 nights.
What made you decide to come to Vancouver? There must have been a few things of interest to you that made you decide to come? Scenery? water activities or boat rides? art galleries and museums? markets? city tours? Parks? local mountains - Tremblant is about 875 m high, Our Grouse is closer to 1,200 metres high, with a good gondola ride up to the top.
Knowing that would help us.
Coming from Laval as you do the Ocean was a draw for us. Some of the highlights for us.
English Bay, dinner at Cactus club and walking the beach afterwards.
Biking and walking Stanley park.
Strolling the waterfront in Coal Harbour.
Kitsalano for the beachfront...
UBC campus and the museum of anthropology.
Taking the water taxis to Granville island for lunch.
What we didn't enjoy was Gastown...way too many people although no cruise ships this year so might be different. Lots of options for drinks and meals there.
2 days is not a lot of time for a beautiful city like Vancouver but enjoy nonetheless.
You should go to Stanley park.
