You want to use Google transit.

https://goo.gl/maps/VLNxRiwbjMM8QLf67

You just select the transit tab on the directions tool and plug in the specific start and end address and either departure or arrival time.

Art ~

Welcome to the forum. It really helps if you give some context to your question. Tomorrow? or a day in the future? A weekday or a weekend? Morning or afternoon? Where do you have to go at UBC because it's a big campus and different buses take different routes so one might be better for you than another. Do you have to arrive at a certain time? We're good! but we are not that good! so context helps.

Randomly choosing a weekday, departing at 8 am, take Canada Line to Langara-49th Ave Station. Transfer to the westbound #49 UBC bus all the way to the UBC Exchange. That is very close to the Aquatic Centre and Gage Towers. That will take 45 minutes.

Tap your credit card on the fare sensor at one of the gates on the Canada Line platform, than again on the sensor on the bus, next to the driver. Don't tap off when you exit the bus. The charge for the fare will show up in your credit card statement.

Just a WAG here, but I'm guessing it's about not wanting to pay extra for CL

So, 480 bus.

Art, just be aware that we are all volunteers on the forums. We are not being paid to do this, and we do this because we like helping people.

But you have to help us too.

Hi Art, Welcome.

A few hints for getting real answers to your questions.

This isn’t a search engine, it’s a forum where you can ask a question, and otters will try to help with answers, some are experts, and some just have past experiences.

This isn’t Twitter, there is no limit on how many characters you can use.

The more information you give, the better the answers you get will be. Sometimes the best answer will be different at different days if the week or different times of a day. You will never be criticized for giving too much info, but as you can see you do get comments when you don’t provide enough.

And because we’re all human, when you ask a question, a “please” goes a long way to getting responses.

After you get a response coming back to say Thanks gets you bonus points.
