Getting from VAN airport to The Rosedale on Robson ST

hello,

will be arriving in vancouver next week and would like to know the most cost effective way to get from airport to this hotel. I understand there is a skytrain that goes into downtown, but what is the nearest stop to this place?

Thanks in advance

Outside the domestic terminal will be Canada Line, the train to downtown. You will need $9, then get off at Yaletown Station. Walk along Mainland St for about 600 metres to the hotel.

Follow the 'trains' sign and buy a single-use Compass Card at the machines - expect to pay about $9. Take the first train that comes in, get off at Yaletown-Roundhouse and walk down Mainland St. Should take about 30 minutes

There is no single use Compass Card. A Compass Card costs a $6 refundable deposit, then additional stored value, minimum $10. A single use fare, purchased from the vending machine on the platform is called a Compass Ticket. It is electronic and can be used on the trains, the Seabus and the buses. Good for 90 minutes.

30 minutes total time from airport to hotel.

If there are more than 2 of you cabs are another option. Zoned fare from airport. Either $31 or $35 flat depending on zone. Map is on yvr website

You can get off at the Yale Roundhouse stop or you can get off at the Vancouver City Center Station. Here are the two google maps with the walking directions, choose whichever on you think is easier. IMO I would go to the Vancouver City Center Station

Yes, not a bad walk from Yaletown station.

Rosedale.....all I remember is the bed on the floor. Weird.

Yes. Right across the street and up the escalator which you can see going up the side of the building to the platform.

You can see the YVR-Airport station in the centre space on this map: https://goo.gl/maps/pctZgA5fEUt

There is a walkway straight north toward Alamo car rental and the International Terminal. There is another longer walkway to the west, toward the Royal Bank of Canada in the Domestic Terminal.
