We have been able to do it a few times during our several late October visits. There is a pen where they rebury the eggs right next door to the GCP. I have also seen them digging them upin the morning as they start to hatch and have helped with that once.

When they release them, there are usually so many people that each person only gets 1 or 2 turtles. This last time, there were only a few of us and a lot of turtles. We all got to "help" several.

Isn't that an amazing experience???? We were able to see it several times staying at Dreams PV and just WOW :)

After that trip I added baby turtles to the same cuteness level of puppies, foals and kittens..

We were there last week. It was very special experience. But they told to donate about 25 pesos each to help them out. But sadly, most of them didn't pay any donation. And, one of a little boy through away a turtle, and one boy took turtle back to their resort - I'm sure the turtle was not go to survive. I think their parent has responsible for that. When we were there, they only spoke in Spanish so we didn't know what they were talking. I wish they could gave us explaination at least a little bit.... Maybe because there were a lot of local turist there.

Where is the GCP? Is ther a place you can go to see this besides Dreams? Or will they let you on the property to watch if you're not staying there?

Maybe a little late to reply to this post, but there is an area just to the North of the Riu Palace about 5 minutes down the beach. The place is surrounded by caution tape. We were there 2 weeks ago a few times and thought it was a real thrill.Best time we found was in the evening around sunset or after. Flashlights help too, don`t want to step on any by accident they can be difficult to spot.
