We would like to take a Covid test 3 days prior to returning to NY/US. We are required to have a negative Covid test prior to returning to avoid the 14 day quarantine requirement.
Can someone please tell me where I can do the test in Punta Cana/La Romana area? I remember reading somewhere that there is lab that will come to the hotel and do the test for you.
Also, do you know how much it will cost?

Look into Labreferencia.com we had used their service last month just for our own assurance. You will need to call them and make payment online, they do not accept in-person payment. The cost of a rapid test with guaranteed results within 24/48 is $4300 Dominican peso, and you will receive results through their web-portal.

yes, Laboratorio Referencia is a good choice, especially as they (seem to) do resort-visits.
Other options to get a Covid-19 test in Punta Cana are IMG Punta Cana, Amadita or Centro Medico Punta Cana. I don't know about resorts visits of these options though.
Prices are usually around 4300 RD$ as posted above with IMG charging a bit more (5K something).

LeafsNation...on their website, which covid 19 test did you order? It seems to list a drive through or saliva test . Did a person come and give the saliva test or you ordered it and it was sent to the resort?
Do you have to make an appointment for the testing?
At Refrencia I just showed up. Waited 15 minutes and they were ready to do the test. I was in for blood work the other day. Once again...15 minutes in and out. Afternoons are quiet. If you go at 9am, expect a longer process.
