Is anyone an H10 Premium member?

My finace and I recently purchased an H10 Premium vacation package that includes the use of 3 studios (any 3 weeks out of the year) at any of the H10 Premium affiliated resorts. The sales person said that we could rent out these studios and receive at least a $500 return from a vacation broker. Can anyone provide a reference for a vacation broker to rent our studios or any guidance how we go about doing this?

Thanks!

Hi sdou8ce, my wife and I also purchased that package and have the same inquires as you. The one website that I visited was sellmytimesharesNOW but haven't investigated it or followed through yet. I was wondering if you find out any relevant info. that you could pass it on to me.

Thank you.

Sorry to hear about your purchase with H10 premium. We bought in Feb.08 and we were told the same thing. Have not yet seen that you can broker these weeks at all and esp. without further scam from such people as Resort Equity Marketing. When I went to book one of my studio weeks it was going to cost me more then the average person staying in the hotel. I have written H10 customer service many times with no response and I have called them and have recieved promises of calls back but there have been no calls back. I do hope you got a number of all inclusive weeks with your package cause I am thinking those weeks and the RCI points are the only things useful to you. Do let me know if you have any luck with brokering your weeks out. Cheers

Ditto! It is such a scam. BEWARE of timeshare reasale companies. They will charge you a fee upfront and you'll never hear from them again. I spent 13000$ on my H10 timeshare and figure all I'm gonna get from it is my 6 weeks all inclusive plus my 40000 RCI points a year. The 3 weeks aren't worth anything because the all inclusive fees you'll have to pay to use them will cover more that the cost to make any reservation in any similar or even better hotels in Cancun. Once they have your money, they disappear. Customer service takes 3 weeks to reply to your emails and constantly get everything wrong. I'm going there soon and, trust me, I'll pay the sales office a little visit. I will print your emails if you want and bring them with me. If I have to spend all my mornings in front of their office to make sure they hold up their end of the bargain I will. I hope they don't expect to make any sales while I'm there. I will make sure they don't. They made me feel like an idiot but they don't know what's coming to them.

We have the same problem purchasing 3 weeks Feb 1/09 and was told we can rent it through a broker for $500.00 per week. This would be impossible to rent when you need to pay the all inclusives fees on top per person. Has any body consulted a lawyeer on this matter to brake this contract. If so please let us know.

Thanks,

Well we have also been very disappointed...first of all, we only got 4 free all inclusive weeks, and I just read that someone else got 6 for the same price! What suckers we were!! We heard the same story about selling those studio weeks, but honestly, after doing more research, I'd be afraid to sell those weeks to strangers because if they do any damage to the room, the 'member' is responsible for it! We have resolved to try to sell our weeks to coworkers and friends for pretty cheap, or use them ourselves, but even then, trying to get a reply from 'Customer Service' to make a reservation seems to take an act of Congress. Next time we go back to Mexico where we were sold our timeshare, I also plan to have a long chat with the sales office. I am extremely disappointed.

We also purchased a vacation plan back in Feb 08, took our family back in Oct 08 and upgraded our membership and and a fried bought a membership. We went back again in Jan 09 and had a great time and a fried bought a membership. For what we paid is worth the 6 weeks all inclusive (now 8), which we use on peak season. We give our non all inclusive weeks to people to go with us, they pay the all inclusive rate, buy a plan and we get an all inclusive week in return, need to work to system. You can deal with a local travel agent and sale them as upgrades, because thats all they really are. Also if you go in Oct to Dec wait for the specials ($40.00 per person per night) you still get the upgrade that make the resort a special place to be. Don't cry about what you got, figure out how to enjoy it, many people do and other wish they could. Remember not to complain about what you got if you are taking a freind, brag about it and get a free all inclusive week, we have got 2 extra so far, going again in Dec 09, who knows.

We share the feelings of everyone else (except the person who probably works for them or suckers their "friends")! Has anyone found a way out? We were not only told that we could rent it for the $500 a week, we were told we could use any of the H10 European hotels which is a LIE!!!! For those of you who went back and spoke to the salespeople (AKA con artists), please let me know if you had any success.

FYI. I am a Title Officer in the United States and we know what we bought and we do not work for H10. I too was told about the rental of my weeks and I to am concerned why they said this, but I do not con my friends, I just take them down with us and they make their own decision, as you did when you purchased.

My husband and I also bought a vacation package. i so wish we could get our money back. Customer service gets back to us when they feel like it, and does not always answer all of our questions. Everytime I try to use the RCI points, we can't book when we want. We stupidly upgaded our package to get more free weeks (we wanted to take our grown kids), only to find that we agreed to only 1 free week a year. We specifically told them we wanted more weeks so we could bring the kids. I was sick, and left the rest of the paperwork with my husband. I guess they got that little detail past him.

The resorts are beautiful, and we have had a good time. We are trying to take advantage of the program, but it is difficult. I would love to sell it. We were also told we could sell our studio weeks. We were under the understanding, that H10 would buy them back. We have called recently and customer service told us they did not know how this was done. I am going to book a trip to spain. Has anyone been there? Which ones are all inclusive?

Is there a better business burea for out of country businesses?
