Check in : I had booked 6 rooms for our wedding accommodation, which I confirmed once in email and twice over the phone. Check in still took an hour (not including wait time). A room, which had the same surname as one of my bookings, had been added to my booking which removed the bride and grooms room. I tried, quite unsuccessfully, to explain that it wasn't one of my party and it was pretty important for the bride and groom to have a room for their wedding night. The whole time in dealing with the issue the Duty Manager pretended we weren't even there and left the Receptionist to deal with the complaint.
3 Bedroom Apartment : We had two x 3 bedroom apartments. One was very nice (Unit 4), the other (Unit 1), which the bride and her maids were getting ready in way HORRID. A broken lamp, only one light working in the lounge room, a half painted bedroom, spiders in the bathroom and dead bees and mould in the shower. I wouldn't stay in Unit One again.
King Resort Room : The bride and groom stayed in a king resort room the night of the wedding. The room was plain but nice and clean. We received a complimentary bottle of wine.
We've always enjoyed staying at the Vines but this experience has put us off.
