They specialise in regional, ecological cuisine. I had a local red wine and a local vermouth and both were excellent. Food, service and atmosphere were great. The waiter was friendly, courteous, made recommendations and answered questions I had. The food was creative and delicious. The...More

We went to eat at Els Garrofers, but it was closed for holiday (I think). In stead we found this street food place called La Barraca in front of Els Garrofers. Both food, wine and service was really good. Keep up the good work :-)

We visited Els Garrofers 2 times during our 4 day stay in Alella. First we ate in the more formal part of the restaurant for a delicious meal, great service and all around wonderful experience. WE returned 2 days later for burgers at the casual...More

First off, Gonzalo and the team are just awesome! What a good guy. Secondly, two days into a three week trip, Els Garrofers food set the bar really high. The avocado tartare w/ mushrooms, grapefruit, apple, smoked eel and basil sorbet was one of the...More

It works by different formulas/menús with a fix price but is very miss leading because all menus extra cost. The food is good but not as good as it should be for the price paid. The venue is nice, specially the outside. When we book...More

Parked up outside and walked downstairs through the terrace area to a very nice restaurant overlooking the Alella hills. Menu del Dia for 18 euros was excellent with plenty of choice although many dishes carried an additional cost. The food was very good and the...More

We ate here for lunch as part of a wine tour. The food was very good, actually delicious. For an appetizer we had barbecued octopus - excellent and very tender and chopped avocado and seafood !!! Delicious! My main course was Feiduás, a local dish....More

I wasn't blown away by the meal there - but I also ate during a weekday menu. Menus in general aren't always the best way to try a restaurant since some places that have excellent food can have kind of crappy menus, and vice versa.
