An excellent Sunday lunch, great food, really friendly and attentive staff, just what we needed. Nothing was a problem and we will be back.

Fantastic country pub. I found this on trip advisor and we weren’t disappointed. I left a voicemail message re a booking and the wonderful landlord called me back promptly. We went for Sunday lunch and the welcome we received was lovely. We were so glad...that we only ordered a main roast course as the food was exceptional a d so much of it. We had three different meats and all were delicious. The starters and deserts looked great but just no room. We will certainly return despite the hour journey as it was so good and nearby Foxton Locks are a few minutes down the road fir an after or pre meal walk.More

We booked for lunch and I discussed on the phone that one of the party was unable to walk too far and was also gluten free. A table was provided just inside the bar for us with a warm welcome and we were telephoned beforehand...to see if we needed the ramps put out, if we were using a wheelchair, we were not on this occasion but it was a thoughtful thing to ask. The food was delicious, and they even provided gluten free gravy to go with the roast dinner. Will definitely be going backMore

Our walking group pre-booked a visit for drinks for last Friday and what a welcome! Everything plus you could wish for in these Covid times, nothing was too much trouble. We know from past experience that the food is good too - we'll be back....Thanks to all at the Bell.More

I took my family to the bell for their steak and WOW we were not disappointed. Sanitising Station and track and trace as we entered and were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our table. For steaks were to die for and the...homemade desserts were something truly special. We will definitely be returning, great food, great prices and a lovley welcome atmosphere not mention clean and covid safe. Nice work to everyone there.More

Came in on Sunday for lunch with my family and was greeted by a friendly member of staff who then took us to our table. We ordered our drinks then put our order in for our roast dinner. We arrived very hungry and left so...full after having a delicious meal and being jealous of the amazing homemade yorkshires. Look forward to our next visit 😀More

We decided to try out the recently launched ‘Pie & Pudding Night’ last Thursday. The food was absolutely delicious (I had the chicken, leak and ham pie with mash and peas) and the same goes to the crumble I had for pudding! It was really...good value for money and the staff were lovely too. On another note, the ladies toilet looks great after it’s refurb earlier on in the year.More

Stopped for lunch whilst in the area and were pleasantly surprised. Sat outside in the walled garden, and chose from the daily offers board, £5.95 for main and £2 for dessert. Both had fish and chips, and although not the largest piece of fish, was...tasty and value for money. Dessert of Apple and pear crumble and ice cream was good too. For the price, couldn't go wrong. Only downside being the tables weren't cleaned between guests, only cleared of dirty glasses etc.More
