Very disappointed, went for dinner, service is extremely slow, once ordered the portions were small and it took forever to bring out the food! whilst we were eating the waiters were in a hurry to take the food away whilst food was still on the...plate.More

We ordered the lamb dish which comes with chips, and musaka. The lamb is undercooked, unable to separate from bone! And so fatty. We binned it. The chips soggy and old. The musaka was average. Do not eat at this place. Absolutely rubbish. I want...to be compensated for such bad experienceMore

Visited this restaurant on a Thursday night with family. The wait staff were very friendly and informative. We ordered a set menu so had an opportunity to try many different dishes which was great. The food and service were both good.

This place offers the most authentic tasty greek food anywhere in Sydney. The ambience is cosy, the service lovely and the greek music and band fantastic. Yes it may be a little loud, but this is a greek restaurant after all. Highly recommend this restaurant...to anyone who is craving for some real greek food.More

A Greek restaurant that has cabbage rolls on its menu and does not have them available on a Friday night has lost the plot. As to the other offerings on the menu that I ordered, they were edible but certainly not exciting. BBQ lamb chops?...Anyone can do that! And as to the noise level, it is a small and noisy place and the noise was increased by a large party group nearby. When two musicians added their noise contribution to the mix, via a sound system, it was impossible to talkMore

We went there for a function - we were crammed in like sardines where we couldn't even move ann inch. The food was plentiful and tasty. HOWEVER, the music was uncomfortably loud and all we wanted to do was leave. The owner and waiters were...more concerned about dancing and having a good time themselves. What could have been an enjoyable dining experience, with Greek music and dance - was actually chaos. We hads to go outside on the footpath to get some reprieve and even then it was too loud. Do not waste your time and money as thisd is not an authentic greek experience. It was very emabarassing actually....More

We received barely any table service, and to have to wait 1 hour for our next course in the $55 Banquet was disappointing. It was only after I approached the owner that they realised that the food was served to another table, and this was...blamed on new waiters. On the menu it said four dips, but in reality one of them was a little bowl of olives. Instead of chips as promised, we got a couple of pieces of baked potatoes, this was obviously due to kitchen closing down for the night. The men’s toilets had no soap in the dispensers and the toilet seat of one of the women’s toilets fell off. There was actually a competition between the toilets and the kitchen for the worst stench. There were four massive speakers cranking out music so loud we couldn’t hear ourself think, yet there was no air conditioning. Will I come here again? NO - let’s move to another Greek restaurant.More

Really enjoyed our meal here. All dishes were very tasty and the lamb dishes were tender and delicious. Not normally a fan of the dips but these were very nice. All wines are Greek so it was great to try something quite different. Service was...friendly and efficient, and they don't oversell. Would be happy to go there againMore

Needed a quick bite before a 6 pm start, great service, tasty food. Had the moussaka. Would love to see the taverna in full swing!

We recently had dinner at this Taverna. We ordered calamari. What was presented was Not calamari. When we asked about this chopped us mess sitting on top of some soggy chips we were advised by our waiter that is how calamari is done. Not a...calamari ring in sight. Wrong. The serving of tzatziki dip was ridiculously small, a real insult to customers given the price tag. Wine is similarly over priced. We spent $190 for two adults and two small children and left very dissatisfied. Give it a miss. Any five start reviews have been done by the management.More
