We visited the enoteca on Saturday around noon and felt what it's like to live in San Daniele. Prosecco and wine were drunk at all the tables along with prosciutto and other snacks just to bite something. The service was professional and the prices were...okay considering what we ordered. Big recommendation when you come to this picturesque place.More

The castle, the church, the library with works of Petrarca are takinkg you into the culture that explains why the creativity and the taste for beautiful things make this region of Italy so different and apealing. When you stop at the table of this special place to "digest"...your experience they bring you the famous ham produce in the city with a glas of the same famous Friuli wine. And that day of your life becomes unique.Because you understand that what man has created with love and hard work will not desapear no matter the viruses of the moment.More

Never ate here, but nipped in for a glass of wine about 4 or 5 times while in town. Always a smile, and another local wine to try. Very reasonable prices for wine by the glass.

A really nice wine bar with very good food in a lovely little street. Some nice tables outside and a wide variety of wines. The white Chardonnay we had was lovely and the Cabernet Franc from Friuli was also amazing. I ordered the trout and...it was delicious and also the ham and carpaccio was very good. The ladies who served us were kind and efficient. The only downside was that they didn't have coffee... great experience!More

Unfortunately, we didnt try the wine. But we tried the food and it was super: 100 grams of San Daniele ham was more than enough for 2, the frico (which overall is just melted, fried cheese - the Mother of all chili cheese tops!) was...rich and tasty and the buffalo mozzarella with tomatoes fresh and crisp. Definitely a good food experience.More

After visiting the excellent Prosciuttoficcio Prolongo, we asked where we could taste the ham they produce and they recommended this wine bar. Excellent wine and great Prosciutto good ambiaance.

Located in a quiet side street, it is full of atmosphere. Guests are mostly locals, service is nice and helpful. Besides impeccable ham they offer very good cheeses. We tried softly smoked trout with burrata. Whenever in Friuli we will go there again

This lovely town not only has the best prosciutto ever, sorry Parma, but wonderful places to enjoy this fabulous treat. Small, intimate inside and outside dining( weather permitting), great small bites and perfect when you go during the Festa in the last days of June.

Totally nuts- a small cantina with a big heart. Take a few euros and dine on the local ham and cheese. Who needs Tapas?

the wine suggested by the waitress (cabernet) was awful and made me sick (it was actually very bad quality). the price was euro 3.50. Since the only job of the waitress was standing and pouring wine behind the bar, I give one star to the...service (if you don't know wine maybe you should work in a shopping mall). seriously. don't call yourself Enoteca if you have Tavernello quality wine (and if you serve 2 drops of it) and sell it for the price of a good wine. Place is very nice, tho. I suppose it's ok if you buy a bottle of water.More
