Nice osteria a few km south from San Daniele. Small and friendly place. We went for a standard menu with amazing raw ham, perfect cut and taste, some fresh cheese (mozzarella burrata and caprino), some seasoned cheese and vegetables. Local wines and a beer completed...the lunch. Prices in line with expectations considering that we ordered the ham plate twice :-) so good it was.More

All nice: food, ambiance, friendly people. Good quality of regional food as prosciuto, cheese, vegetables and nice Friuli wine ! Highly recommendable if you really love good food.

This casual restaurant is owned by the Coradazzi family that makes artisanal San Daniele prosciutto. Lunch consisted of a platter of their prosciutto and other cured meats, a platter of cheeses including burrata and cacciocavallo, melon, pickled vegetables and a bread basket. It was a...huge spread that you could consume in any order or combination you wanted. We ate in the garden out back and afterwards got directions for their prosciutto making facility only a couple of kilometers away. We bought a 4 pound piece and they also gave us a tour of the plant. Fun fact--San Daniele prosciutto is cured with the entire leg and hoof attached.More

My husband and I visited my family in Friuli and they took us to San Daniele for a visit at the Coradazzi Prosciuttificio (very interesting!) followed by a tasting at the 'Al Baccaro' restaurant. We had the best prosciutto ever! Coradazzi prosciutto just melts in...your mouth and the taste is just perfect! The restaurant owner, Corrado, is from the Puglia region and so he also treated us to some very tasty bruschettas, cheeses, oil cured vegetables....you name it!! Everything was just delicious and service was attentive and fun! If you ever go to San Daniele please visit this restaurant!! Food is amazing, Corrado is fun and very generous and of course you will have the 'food experience' of your life!!!More

This is a must visit - the prosciutto melts in your mouth. As does the daily fare (including the home made organic pasta). Wonderful, warm Friuli experience. Not to be missed if you are in the area.
