This IS the best place for prosciutto IN THE WORLD! Their prosciutto is simply the most delicious you will ever taste! The family that owns and operates it is incredibly warm and inviting with true professional service. I’ve made many visits, brought many friends, and...they never disappoint!More

Very tasty local prosciutto. (prosciutto di San Daniele). Very tasty cheese. Staff always friendly and smilingeven if the place is very busy. Good local wine. It is better to call and book a table to be sure to find place.

After finding this restaurant in 2017 it was a must to go back in 2018. The prosciutto dishes are excellent with side dishes, bread sticks and cheeses. The warm Strucky cookies are the best. Will go back again next time around

We went there in December, 26th for a little lunch after xmas day. Food was good and "prosciutto crudo" amazing. I suggest going there at least one time to try the experience of a typical Italian tradition.

Perfect Italian example of high quality fast food. You can park just in front of the shop, service is fast and very accurate. The San Daniele ham melts on your tongue and the local cheeses selection is from goat cheese to stravecchio to local latteria...type. A glass of good prosecco and that's it. Coffee is also Italy's best. This is what exactly the italian food that get lost. Enjoy!More

Fantastic food and the best prusciutto I have ever had. It just melted in your mouth. The cheese accompanied with the meal was amazing and the bread was light and crunchy. Perfect for prusciutto! A must if you visit the area. I recommend the large...platter... There is never enough prusciutto. Prices are extremely reasonable compared to the other restaurants in the area also, so price isn't an issue for such a great taste.More

We went to this osteria for a snack. We took a plate of prosciutto crudo for four persons and something to drink. The quality of this 'Prosciutto di San Daniele' was very high and the price low. It's a bit a pitty, that this restaurant...is directly on the main street (a bit loud if you sit outside).More

What can be more romantic than eating San Daniele prosciutto and drinking wine at L Osteria on a rainy afternoon in Italy? The staff was so friendly! I just showed them a picture someone posted here and they filled the table with every delicacy you...could imagine. Wow! Finished with a complimentary cherry shot and home made fig cookies. I almost started to cried!More

I absolutely cannot imagine how any other San Daniele restaurant could ever out-rate L'Osteria! If you don't have a reservation, you may not eat; it's that popular...and for good reason. You go, of course, for the prosciutto, and it absolutely melts in your mouth. But...that's not the only reason to go. Don't look for a menu, just let them bring it on...all of it! You'll start with a bruschetta on still-warm toast, and then the prosciutto will arrive, a platter of it for each person. Then there will be bowls and plates of various vegetables, cheeses, salame...all home-made and all delicious. Do not leave without having a slice of their Black Forest torte, the real thing! Excellent wines (I recommend the Prosecco, which is served icy cold, just the way I like it.) A warm welcome, fantastic food, reasonably priced. A grand slam!More
