It’s not much to look at, and it’s a 15min walk from the center but this is a great place for good old local to home cooking. We had menú del día here on a day in Potes. We parked almost outside. The restaurant was...almost fully booked and had to turn people away. Anything good in Potes needs booking for any meal. This was a great choice and very reasonably priced.More
If you are looking for real local food, excelent price, and what is best, the personal treatment, this is the place at Potes. “Cocido Lebaniego” is my recommendation / Si buscas comifa regional, a un precio excelente y muy buena calidad, este es el lugar...en Potes. Recomiendo el Cocido Lebaniego.More
Very friendly staff. Excellent food. Superb quality/price ratio. Mandatory to reserve Wells un advance
Excellent food great service, will return when feeling very hungry after walking in the mountains - Thanks Martin
This restaurant just outside potes serves a wonderful trafitional spanish menu. EUR 13 incl everything. Really good quality and very friendly service. We will be back
Raw food and it didn't offer to change it, not good taste....not coming back to this place. At list the coffee was for free, after our complains (45persons)
We ate from the fix menu: ensaladilla lebaniega, mixed salad, stuffed redpeppers with bacalao (cod), cachopo (beef cordon blue). For desert: canonigo (a very light patisserie cream, soft meringue and dusted nuts) and tarta de galleta y chocolate (Boston pie). They were very elaborate, tasty...and generous in size. At a similar price, it beats many of the restaurants we ate at, in Potes. Friendly and courteous owner and staff.More
We went to this restaurant following the advice of Tripadvisor, We were 7 adults and 9 children so we called beforehand to make sure that they have room for us. The restaurant is located outside Potes so be prepared for a 20 minute walk to...get there (longer if you travel with kids), you won´t be in the pretty part of the town, be aware! Food in general was below average of what you find in the area. The cocido Liebaniego was bland, the soup had a watery consistence (not too much flavor) and the chickpeas were just ok. The cachopo was a VERY SMALL piece of meat, nothing compare to what you can find anywhere else in the area, The fresh cheese with pepper chutney was by far the best dish. Service was helpful and fast. The price is the standard in the area for a daily menu, 11-12 euros per person. The restaurant is fairly big and was quite empty so we did not feel very guilty because of the children playing around a little bit. To summarize, below average food, good service, outside town at standard prices.More
This is a very cozy restaurant with very friendly staff. Owner Martin will welcome you warmly and explain you all the dishes in the menu. Go for the wonderful 'cocido Lebaniego', typical from the region. The Martin salad is also great, as well as the...typical dessert 'canónigo'. Very recommendable!More

Over 20 years experience, maintaining the same quality and good service. Average food cooked with love. Fast and friendly service, a reasonably cheap price. The set menu are a great option, around 12€, includes starter, main course, wine or water and dessert.
If you want the typical dishes of this region then this is a great place to start. The menu of the day is a good option and gives you lots to try and a family of four. The service was good and the portion sizes...enormous... Make sure you have not snacked before hand!!More
Our family had lunch at Martin's two times during our trip to Potes. It was an excellent choice. The menu is simple with traditional Spanish food. Everything we tried was perfection, even our kids liked it! Don't forget to order Canonigos for dessert..
