Service good but food not as good as others in the area. Chicken very dry and not great at all. Inside is absolutely filthy, a mop of the floor wouldn’t go a miss! Would not return with so many other great places to eat in...the close vicinity.More
This restaurant was ok. Not brilliant but ok. Starters were average calamari not homemade. Baked feta underdone. Main courses average. Although the pork souvlaki with figs and halloumi was lovely the other steak dishes in our party were just ok. Service very slow overall appreciating...restaurant very busy.More
Great friendly place with wonderful home cooked food. Service was very friendly and the prices were more than good. Definitely recommend
This is a pretty restaurant and was one of the best I’ve been to. Menus seem to be very similar in most places but this had quite a few Greek dishes that I hadn’t seen before with a large menu- I have pork souvlaki with...halloumi and figs and it was delicious. My other half had beef in a jug and my kids had spaghetti Bol all good quality. I would highly recommend this place.More
This is a pretty restaurant set back from the main road. We shared a small starter which was nice and had local rose and red wine which was delicious. However the main courses were average. Parts of the food were luke warm and it lacked...any presentation. After being spolit with large portions the previous 2 nights this was average portion size. The service was also hit and miss. We were served by pretty much everyone and some were really friendly and some not. No one took the opportunity to really speak to us. It was just ok. There are better restaurants to go to.More
Had an excellent meal here, very friendly staff and quick service. This restaurant probably had the best air conditioning I have ever experienced. We were seated outside but you know what I mean. My steak was perfect. So good I think I knew the cow...it came from. The cow’s name was Arnold. My daughter had a great spaghetti and my son, (i think he is my son, DNA test is in the post), had chicken gyros which he demolished. My wife only eats carbonara and the one she had here was excellent. We will visit other restaurants but will come back here. I will be posting a carbonara league table over the coming days based on the wife’s diet. By the way, be careful crossing the road, they seem to drive on the wrong side here.More
We were trying different tavernas for the first days of our vacation Till we found it! So , so tasty
Was in Tsilivi recently with my wife and we seen this restaurant advertised close to our hotel and based on some Trip Ad reviews we had read beforehand we decided to eat here for dinner. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived (2 other tables...in use) however this changed very quickly and within 30 mins all tables were occupied. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and provided guidance on the menu and other special seafood options available. We shared a starter of Pitta and humous which was nice and flavorsome. I then picked souvlaki chicken which was served on 3 small skewers with salad, chips and rice. The foot was well presented, warm and very tasty. The food was good, reasonably priced and somewhere i would visit again.More
Mixed feelings about this place, we visited twice, two days ago and today. We previously had a chicken escalope and a steak in mushroom sauce. Chicken escalope was tasty, crispy breadcrumbs and succulent chicken, pretty near perfect. Steak was asked for rare but came medium,...saying that it was very well prepared, quite tender and sauce made with fresh mushrooms. Both of these meals were very good. Although the restaurant is on the other side of town to our hotel, because we'd had such a lovely meal we decided to go back this evening. Whilst stood at the entrance the waiting staff saw us there and looked the other way. We waited for a while, then just walked in and found a table, sat and waited. A man who'd served us to days ago came to take our order for drinks, we began to tell him, he got distracted mid conversation and walked off. A while later he came back to take our order, two mushroom soups (we'd seen mushroom soups being served two days ago with fresh mushrooms and it looked delicious. One Greek Salad and a chicken filet with wine sauce. A while later our soup arrived with croutons floating in it but no mushrooms, he places in front of us and walked off. I took two spoonfuls of mine, it wasn't nice so I slid my bowl to the side and tried to get a waiters attention. They both saw my bowl and didn't want to engage with me, just ignored me. My fellow diner was braver than me and ate hers. Eventually the waiter arrived and asked me if I wanted more time to finish what was now a large bowl of cold soup which had grown a wrinkley skin on it, I asked if he could just take it away and bring our mains. Mains came promptly, a very basic bowl of salad consisting of a slice of cheese cut in half, a couple of slices of onion, 4 olives with stones, a couple of tomatoes cut I to quarters and a tiny bit of thinly sliced pepper. Some olive oil had been poured over the top and that was it. It was ok, as I'd had no starter, only a drink I was starving so ate it, waiters didn't want to make eye contact so I couldn't order any additional sauces etc. Chicken was very well cooked and sauce was creamy white wine, it came with a small side salad and chips (described by waiter as Greek Potato Wedges). Chicken wasn't bad, creamy sauce average. Beer was bottled and wine house from a somewhere behind the bar. After waiting for a while for our bill the waiter asked if we wanted Ouzo or Limonchillo, then walked off. A while later I left my dining partner at the table (before making a scene) to wait for the bill. It was quite a while in coming, it was paid and no tip left due to being swerved by waiting staff all evening. I had a drink in the bar opposite and watched the restaurant, the waiter was wandering around chatting merrily to some, oblivious of the needs of others trying to get his attention. So behaviour wasn't just towards us, I saw a lady sitting with her husband stand up quickly and stomp over to the waiter trying to pay after trying to get his attention for some little while. Would we eat here again? No. Reason why, waiting staff and management unapproachable, hence a single star. Food picture is what I had to eat because I'd paid for but not had a proper meal.More
Lovely restaurant in a lovely setting. Full Greek menu Set back off the main road. Reasonably priced, I particularly enjoyed the sea food pasta!
Heard about this gem of a restaurant today and gave it a try wow wish I’d known about it before everything is excellent in quality and quantity and probably the cheapest
We came upon this restaurant while out for a walk and as it was busy decided to give it a try the next night. As there were six of us Yannis agreed to reserve us a table. On arrival we were greeted by Yannis and...his waitress like long lost family. Fresh bread was brought to the table and our order was taken as soon as we were ready. We all had starters and main meals which were absolutely delicious then came the free greek dessert which we only just managed to squeeze in. The biggest surprise of the night was the bill. We had wine and beers starters and main course and the bill came to under 80 euros outstanding value for a fantastic meal. So much so that returned another 4 nights during our holiday and we were never disappointed by the food or the hospitality of Yannis and his very hard working waitress. We would recommend this restaurant very highly.More
We had one of our best night in island . The food was really delicious . The personnel too .I recommend the place and also we will visit the place next time we are here
Service was lacking, white wine wasn’t served on an ice bucket. Coca Cola was just plonked on table - no glass nor ice provided - as it happened we had ordered water so used one of the glasses for cola. Requested ice bucket which was...then supplied. Food was ok, hot and fairly tasty, two of us have the Porto blue chicken and two had pizza. Had to request bill twice even though people were waiting for tables. Disappointing as we visited before few years ago and loved it.More
