Better to find another place to eat. Staff were extremely rude and not friendly at all. Food is not good and overpriced (like any other place in Bora Bora)

Stay away...we went yesterday Thursday October 18th and already when booking the table for 4 people we noticed the annoyed look of the waitress... When we arrived, we didn't even have time to sit at the table and she immediately demanded our orders. When we...asked for glasses for beer, he brought them, slamming them abruptly on the table. The burgers arrived and one was missing, patience can happen, but the cheeseburger was inedible, raw meat and with too much sauce. After paying and pointing this out I wasn't even taken into consideration, but when I said I would give it to the dog, who was sleeping next to us on the beach, I was told... No, don't give it to the dog! ! !! How come ? I could eat it but the dog couldn't...!!! Something isn't right... It should also be noted that when serving local customers, courtesy and smiles were noticeable!!!More

Lunch on the beach with unbeatable views on the beach, we had a yummy cheeseburger and ham/cheese omelette. They were out of sandwiches the day I visited :( service was friendly and prompt, easy parking out front. The most affordable lunch spot in Matira/Vaitape at...$10-20 per person, compared to $40+ other restaurants.More

Beautiful location and good food. We loved the location, atmosphere and surroundings. My steak and fries were good. The location makes the food seem better.

We’ve eaten here a few times. Ordered the fish dinner that came with fries and split it between the two of us. It was three decent sized tuna fillets (ordered it fully grilled once and medium the next time) with a load of fries. Also...had the beef which is a skillet of tasty beef strips with some veggies. The price matched the food! We haven’t ordered them yet, but their best item is the sandwiches I. French bread. They are only 450-600 which is about $5. Can’t beat that!More

This was the only place open at the time (11:00am) on Sunday. The Cafe sits on picture-perfect Matira beach, the price is affordable and good. We enjoyed our last lunch before heading back to Tahiti and were glad we made the choice of eating there.

My Husband and I visited this place by the beach after a long stroll on the beach side and they said that they do not have poison cru. The lady serving had a terrible attitude. We called the next day to see if they had...the poisson cru again and the lady that picked up said that ‘we sure don’t’ and hung up. I would not recommend this snack place !!More

This is a pretty local place, with affordable prices and great view to go with it. We walked here twice for lunch from the Intercontinental Le Moana. Once via the road the other time via the beach. Save some room for desert.

One of Bora Bora’s many “Snacks,” essentially Cafes where workers can grab a quick lunch for roughly 1000xpf, Snack Matira pairs its idyllic lagoon views with a diverse menu outpacing any of its nearby competition. Located right on Matira Beach, hours beginning at 10:00am justifying...some Omelettes and Breakfast fare, it was after perhaps ten minutes wait that cash was traded for five items, freshly-made Chocolate Mousse in a glass consumed greedily while the kitchen worked. Opting to take everything else to the Bungalow, crisp Fries glistening in the sun, Snack Matira’s Burger is a bit small but well-prepared while a generous slice of grilled Fish fares better for just 900xpf. The only Snack Restaurant visited with Desserts made on site, chilled but quick to warm outdoors, the decision between Apple or Pear Tart largely comes down to personal preference, though it is wise to order one of each as both feature tender Fruit on a flaky, buttery Crust.More

One of the best values we found in our whole time traveling around the islands. It doesn't look nice at all, but the sandwiches were HUGE and very good! Highly recommend for a meal, especially a casual affordable one!

This is the most reasonable place to eat for the price. The sandwiches are about a foot long with fries in the sandwiches. Beautiful view of Matira public beach, which is also a good, clean public beach, go swim, see some fish in the water...and head there for lunch.More
