This is the most reasonable place to eat for the price. The sandwiches are about a foot long with fries in the sandwiches. Beautiful view of Matira public beach, which is also a good, clean public beach, go swim, see some fish in the water...and head there for lunch.More

This is a local lunch eatery, on the beach, at which you can find outstanding prices! The food is very good, too.

We always stop at Snack Matira when we are in Bora Bora. It is simple: picnic benches, open air, on the beach, quick and economical. We love their poisson cru with a glass of wine. We tried their espresso at our last stop. It was...very good.More

We were in town to shop for snacks and wine and stopped for lunch initially at Bloody Marys.  We were very disappointed with their location and quickly found Matira Snack which was located right on the beach.  It was a beautiful little shack located right...on the water and you could go out on the beach and water while waiting for your food to be served.  This place turned out to be great! We had Cerviche $12 USD and the Poulet Frites $14 USD. Both dishes were delicious and we couldn't believe the price - such a difference from the resorts out in Bora Bora. This is place that is run by locals and they are so friendly and accomodating. Love the view and will make sure to come back when we return!More

We came here because Bloody Marys and the Beach were closed between lunch and dinner. We weren’t sure what to expect, but it was great! We had a burger, it was medium and good as far as a simple snack shack burger goes. Got us...through waiting for our return taxi without starving, we went to the beach right out front for a little relax as we waited for our car taxi. When the taxi didn’t show up as scheduled the lady running the shop and her husband were so unbelievably kind and helpful in getting us a ride back in time to not miss our water taxi back to our resort. Good food, exceptionally friendly service.More

There are several high-end restaurants in Bora Bora but this casual eatery was perfect for an early dinner after spending the day on the water. Limited drink selection but who needs more than a cold Hinano? We shared pizza and a burger. Fast, fun, plenty...leftover to take back to the hotel.More

Absolutely one of the best places on the island for lunch and the view is stunning. I had the fish with the salad. Simply delectable!

The food here is some of the cheapest you’ll find in Matira beach. It hits the spot if you just want something to put in your mouth. The standard menu of: pizza, salad, burger, chicken/fish/beef, Polynesian dishes. Food (Raw fish in coconut milk) was a...little bland for me; bearing in mind this is the local dish I would’ve expected it to be better. In other restaurants you’ll find it prepared a lot better (with more flavor).More
