Ate there twice! Amazing natural wines for a very good price, you can also buy wine without eating. The food was of great quality. A must have is burrata with figs and the racer clams! Heaven! The beef tartar is also yummi if you like...raw meat! The owner is a gem, doing everything by himself at the restaurant. Go there. The only thing that could be improved is having salt at the table because some of the dishes need more salt. I had my own salt which took it to perfection 😁 A must in Banyuls!More

Stumbled on this place (almost literally) having walked from Chalet Albere to Banyuls. Went in for lunch, came out nearly 2 hours later having consumed the best of foods and wine in the most convivial company it is possible to imagine. The only problem one...could possibly have is which dish to try next. Wonderful food wonderfully prepared. Kind regards, EdMore

Never a disappointment! Always perfect food and perfect taste. Lovely atmosphere and an exslusive, still relaxed atmosphere. Best restaurant in Banyuls-sur-mer.

We ended up in Manu's Xadic on a recommendation of a friend we met in another fantastic restaurant Les Crique (on Pyrifete beach run by J Perrie Floch). I cannot rave enough about great food, wine, atmosphere and hospitality of this place. Photos and words...do not do Xadic justice, you got to try it if you ever pass by Banylus. Book in advance to get a spot. Thank you Manu for the great night. Do you do delivery to Dublin?!! NabardMore

Manu serves an one man runned living room with great natural wines, fresh food in generous portions.Take your time, pick a bottle and take it as it comes. You will be rewarded with hearty food and generous effort. There’s always a little talk with your...fellow guest and village gossie pass by. And you will leave the place with a big smile.More

Second time we have eaten here. You need to reserve as there are few tables and it's very popular. The menu is tapas style and between 3 of us we shared four very generous-sized dishes including a large plate of probably the best mozzarella I've...ever tasted. The vegetables are incredibly fresh. Good selection of wines. Ask Manu who runs it and he will advise. As he takes the orders and prepares everything himself, you need to go and be prepared to not be in a hurry and savour the good wine whilst you are waiting. It's like you are in his kitchen at home, all slightly eccentric but worth it for an entertaining evening of good food and good wine.More

What a treat! Xadic del Mar is slightly tucked away, but when you find it, you won't be disappointed. Loved the slightly rustic atmosphere - the tapas was delicious and the wine lovely. A must when in Banyuls!

We had the pleasure to eat lunch en famille at le Xadic just before Christmas, and what a treat it was. We loved the informal but warm atmosphere, sitting at a large rustic table surrounded by bottles of wine. The tapas were fab : delicious...hams, stuffed squid with black pudding, stuffed peppers, tasty cheeses and a great selection of (many organic) regional wines. Not to mention the desserts .. The restaurant is a gem. It is run by Manu, who is absolutely charming. Don't forget to book at the room is small and it fills quickly.More
