Called in early evening without a reservation and managed to get a table for two. Having seen people turned away later I think it would be wise to reserve a table as this is a popular restaurant. The weather was really cold and windy so...we were really glad to get an inside table but I could see the attraction of a table on one of the "julliet" balconies as the limited view from our table was really spectacular. The waiter was really attentive and advised the wine to have with the meal - an excellent choice as we only wanted a glass each rather than a bottle. We both chose to have a main and sweet with no starter and the waiter made sure we understood that there would be a 20-25 minute wait. We did have bread and olives as an appetiser which were surprisingly good. I had the sea bream fillets with a really wonderful bouillabaisse sauce, wild greens and some mussels - I would definitely recommend this dish. My wife had the sea bass fillets in a lime sauce with almonds and brocoli with coconut puree and said the same! I chose the poached pear pavlova- absolutely delicious and my wife had the Greek yoghurt panocotta which looked as tasty as she said it was. Overall, a really delightful meal in what is rightly one of the best restaurants in Mykonos Town - thoroughly recommended to all.More

We had dinner three times at Kavos in our recent 7 night stay in Mykonos. The food is lovely and the location cannot be beat. We had Moussaka twice and pasta as well. The tzatziki is great as are the Dolmades. The service is excellent...and Antonio really adds to the atmosphere! We also enjoyed the resident Geese! Highly recommendedMore

Amazing staff. Best on the island we’ve been hosted by currently on our holiday. We sat mid day for a quick coffee so can’t comment on the food. However amazing views and very low wind due to position of resteraunt on the cove!

Great views but you can find much better food. If you are coming from the Old Port, you will pass right by this place. It has seating that feels similar to Little Venice. You will have a great view of the beach and the water....We ordered a dip trio to share which was good. The main course for me was mussels and they were ok. The other main course was souvlaki was ok. There was nothing that stood out and for those prices, something should have. The food aside, the reason I wouldn’t recommend this place is the service. We had to asked for our table to be clear twice, after the appetizer and the after the entrees. We were sat down and forgotten. They work hard to bring you in but that’s it.More

It's a cute place to eat seafood, I've tried fried octopus and it was tasty and fresh. The staff was very cheerful, although the place was very busy. Since it is right next to the 'tourist zone', it is a little pricey.
