I was in Mazunte for about a week and ate at various restaurants and this one was the BEST! Tried a few of their breakfast and lunch/dinner items. We came here about 3 to 4 times. View is beautiful, try their Oaxacan Mojito! 🥴✨🌴

I really enjoyed how laid back the staff was here, i would often come here for coffee and the wifi (which I found this to be some of the best connectivity in Mazunte.) I really enjoyed the shrimp pasta and the chai frappe! Also this...restaurant had my favorite chilaquiles in town!More

This wonderful restaurant is nearly on the beach, upstairs with an amazing view and the best empinazada baguette! The sandwich is huge with a very large portion of crispy yet tender chicken, fresh tomato, avocado, lettuce, cheese and a tiny amount of onion. It comes...with very fresh, hand cut fresh french fries that are tender and crisp. This is the VERY BEST baguette in Masunte/ Mazunte. Find the walking street to Playa Rinconcito and look up. The breeze, the food and the hosts are the best in the area! The menu is vast and the portions are plentiful. The only thing small are the prices!More

Great view of beach. The manager in the back speaks English and has some off menu fresh fish he will whip up for you. Ask for the tuna crudo.

Poor service and they overcharged us. And the seafood was bad. Only good thing is the location next to the beach.

This restaurant is in a lovely spot overlooking the beach so myself and my husband were excited to try it out, together with out 7 month old daughter. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. Despite it being a quiet Monday evening, the service was...very slow. Food mediocre and overpriced. Left hungry and disappointed. Never a good sign when you have to get pizza take away on way home!More

We loved this place to have breakfast: many options in the menu, big portions perfect to start a busy day (chilaquiles, huevos al gusto). additional to this, great view on Mazunte beach

In the town of Mazunte along the southern Pacific Coast of México is an outstanding restaurant, Estrella Fugaz. It’s right down near the town’s main entrance to the beach, up a flight of stairs. The ambiance is mellow like the town, the service is also...very mellow. You can get a drink and appetizer pretty fast but will wait a little for the main courses. The wait is worth it! The food is outstanding. We had fish quesadillas, Octopus Mexicana, the fish hamburger, Penne and fish, choriqueso, the seafood medley, the shrimp crepes.... on different nights; we ate there twice. The portions are large and the flavors of the food are separate, you taste them all, no muddled tastes, and most importantly with seafood, none of the dishes were over cooked! They had that sweet clean taste you get when you’re fish etc. has been cooked exactly the right amount of time. A competent bar tender rounds out the whole experience. Definitely try this place.More

Came here for dinner as it was close to the beach. Had 2 fish dinners and a fish burger with fries. Food was good, not great but not bad as some of the other reviews. Fish dinner came with complimentary white wine which was bad....Service was good and there was live music. I would return.More
