Based on a recommendation from a friend we chose this bistro for lunch. There was a good choice of menu with the 3 course plat de jour costing €28.
The restaurant filled up very quickly but service didn't suffer. The food was good value and the ambiance excellent. With an aperro, plat de jour and a
pichet of wine the cost came out to approx €65 a couple without a tip. Good value.

We had an excellent time in this establishment: very good foie gras served in generous portions, then duck confit with Cocos de Paimpol!!
This excellent dish is served in a very original way: you admire it before tasting it!
All the staff are really attentive and friendly!

This restaurant is an absolute little gem, the wait staff was very welcoming and friendly and the salmon with butter sauce is to die for ! Fantasic French cuisine.

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday and we were really welcomed with our small dog.
The terrace in front of the restaurant overlooks a huge free parking area and whilst such a view is not pretty, it was not actually unpleasant
The food choice was good and it arrived quite quickly. Prices were reasonable. The pichet rose wine was really very good and inexpensive. We would definitely eat here again

I have been there twice with my family and last time was in January 2016, the food and service is excellent.
The restaurant location is very good and offers ample parking space in front.
The venue is very comfortable and pleasant. The seating arrangement offers privacy and comfort.
The wine selection and food is very good. we always had a good experience there. I do recommend this restaurant.

This is an average place in the area but they start to serve you at 7:00 pm in most other places is 7:30. The selections of foie gras and duck was very good stick to local food.If you like wine stay with house wines they are good. A good place to go with kids but not for a romantic dinner.
The service was nice and cordial but pricey for the area.
Will take major credit card for payments

We have eaten here several times over the past few years. We have never been disappointed. I love the table settings, the ambience, the eating areas inside and out. Of course the food is presented perfectly and delicious, too....Would recommend.

well, we went to the restaurant because of the previous recommendations. Food was not worth the price. Fish (loup grille) on the raw side if life, the meat (canard) was ok. We didn't stayed for dessert and rather went to McDonalds for a McFlurry - first time in my life I had to go there during several visits to France!

We visited Foix and its surroundings for about 12 days and we found La Bascule as the best reastaurant in all the area. We took lunch and dinner in restaurants around Foix, and this one was by FAR, the best one. My older kid, 8 years, told the owner(Who was always there), to reserve a table for the next 5 days as it is the only place where they enjoy eating. We visited the restaurant at least 6 times in our trip. Good food, nice place, a terrasse, parking and very, very Good service. Highly recommended!

We had asked "locals" on the market where we could go to eat at lunchtime... No regrets!
A pleasant place, friendly owners and staff, very good cuisine, a choice between fish and meat, quality products very well cooked, we recommend we had a great time!
