Very friendly restaurant. The owner is very pleasant, the waitress is very attentive. The service is fast, the plates are generous.
From starter to dessert, everything is truly delicious!! A real treat, I will come back as soon as possible

Nice surprise. An excellent homemade foie gras, served with a scoop of tomato sorbet. Fair and balanced and most importantly, freshness.
The duo of roast and sweetbreads, a real treat. The sweetbreads were just perfect for me. And the melt-in-the-mouth roast. Go with your eyes closed

This restaurant discriminates against blind people because they do not correspond to the clientele they wish to promote.
Calling you as a blind regular, you are told that the restaurant is full and you call 5 minutes later with 1 other name and there is room for 2 people.
It's a shame that in Ariège there will be this kind of behavior in 2024.
You should be ashamed!
I hope for your sake that you never experience disability!
I'm giving 1 star since you can't give 0.

Have been going here since a few years. We still love it! The first day of July was no exception. Seated on the terrace along the small canal with clear flowing water and ducks swimming by hoping for some scraps of bread. Great entrée. Lovely veal dish as the main dish and a dessert that was super! Accompanied with a few pichets of rosé. Need to return soon to test the other dishes.

Came here with in-laws. Pretty good French cuisine and reasonably priced wine list- mostly from the Languedoc. There are basically 2 set priced menus in the evening, one at 18 euros (3 courses) and one at 32 euros. The latter is a bit more adventurous: for example a main course option was duo of veal (veal sweetbreads + cote de veau). One of Pamiers' reasonable restaurants but you can do better e.g Restaurant Deymier.

Sitting on the terrace of Les Bains Douches, we watched the Tour de France go by, but even this event could not detract from the seriously good food that Christophe Cazalis and his charming wife Beatrice provide at this unassuming restaurant in Pamiers. A young chef, Christophe manages to give an exciting spin to the most ordinary French dish. This is provincial cuisine at its best and for a very good price. The restaurant offers a lunchtime 'formule' and well-chosen wine by the carafe. What is disappointing is the decor inside the restaurant (they haven't changed it since they took over), but the terrace beside the canal is a treat.

The chef here thinks outside of the box. It is not classic French, but very very good. A common sort of a place, with a view on the canal in Pamiers.
The meals was presented beautifully with an eye for color. A nice crisp rose wine. Absolutely gorgeous potato dish to accompany the meat. We had reserved and the chef knew before hand that one of us was vegetarian. It was a feast with red rice and bulgar!! I will definitely go back again, in fact, this Thursday!

Lovely plats du jour, good atmosphere day & night. Couldn't wish for a more helpful landlady. (When our taxi didn't turn up she kindly offered a lift home.)

Went for lunch and although the restaurant staff are very pleasant food is is very poor and I think very much pre prepared. Also their cheapest menu is 17euros - which is not very competitive for the area and certainly not value for money.

This restaurant is in a pretty situation along side the river which runs through Pamiers. It's close to the attractive walled park and tourist office. Ducks and ducklings swim by as you eat out on the terrace.... In light of its location and what the decor of the place promises, it was a real shame to be disappointed by the food and the service. The food was very typically French and yet entirely bland. The starters looked pretty but offered nothing of interest to the palate; the main course of fish 'casoullette' really just tasted greasy and then, once the spoonful of off-white puree disolved into it, over-poweringly of raw garlic. The service was very present and available but brusque and surly, in spite of the handful of diners. Overall it was an experience we could not wait to get away from. It's a shame, as it was somewhere we really wanted to like and it deserves to do well if they could just liven up the flavours and add a little charm to their service.

I do not recommend it, the quality price is quite improveable and the treatment was very bad, the lady who must be the owner was very unpleasant.
