We had heard good reviews about the Kellybank Inn and decided to try.
I had tried to book a table for Saturday night both via Facebook and telephone but there was no reply or answer of my calls. We just turned up though and were...able to get a table for 4 people at around 6pm in the lounge no problem.
Our meal was lovely! Two of us had fish and chips, one had macaroni cheese, and a kids fish fingers meal (included fruit shoot & ice cream). We had sides to share of chicken pakora and chilli cheese bites. And a choc fudge cake to share. It was all delicious!
So reasonably priced too, I think for all our food, 4 beers & 2 blue wkd we were less than £60.
I think there was entrainment on later, but we left around 7.45pm with a very tired 3 year old!
The only one downside was the young girl who brought our food out didn't say a single word to us. Even when she arrived at our table with our food, she just stood there with the plates until one of us noticed she was there. She then didn't ask who was having what and just put each plate down on the table and let us pass them to the correct person. All without saying a word... Did not put us off though, She did look very young so maybe just down to inexperience.
Would highly recommend, we will definitely visit again if we are back in the area :)More
