This is an amazing pub to visit, close to the church so perfect for weddings, christenings etc and great parking. The staff are lovely an can't do enough for you. There is a wide choice of drinks, the vodkas and whiskys collections are fantastic. It...has obviously been recently refurbished but in a sympathetic manner in keeping with the original building. Really enjoyed my last visit, food was fantastic, highly recommend the pizza and kebabs.More

Me and some friends decided to try the Woolpack for the first time and I could not fault the place. Food was loverly, staff was amazing, plenty of drink choices for a small bar and the locals was very welcoming and friendly. Such a great...atmosphere all night. Wish it was closer to me as I would love this to be my local pub. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Well done Martin and the team (I think that’s his name sorry if not)More

We have been for the curry and pizza nights which are superb value and great food. The takeaway pizzas are also fantastic. Massively improved since re-opening after lock down.

Met friends here for a catch up a few times and have always been made to feel very welcome by staff (especially Martin and Mel) customers range from all age groups and they have always been very pleasant, yes you get a few drunk people...but I expect this from a pub and it’s lovely seeing people of all ages enjoying themselves. We have had take away pizzas, chips and onion rings a few times and was not disappointed, we have also had a roast dinner which was amazing. We will definitely be back.More

Excellent Pizza, Not sure what the bad reviews are about? The staff and owners have always gone the extra mile to ensure we are accommodated with Veggie Options. Dog-friendly relaxed environment and a lovely garden. Great range of beers and Gins at reasonable prices There's...nothing more you want from a pub is there?More

Went here with my family for the Pizza and Pint night (Wednesday) Wow what can I say apart from the pizzas are spot on! absolutely delicious. The landlord was very accommodating when it came to my teenager who likes very random toppings. We even managed...to sit out in the pleasant courtyard garden as it was such a lovely evening. The bar staff were very friendly and we will definitely be back to this lovely country pub.More

One of our favourites to visit! Amazing food, always something different to try. We went for pizzas as highly recommended. Thin crust as we like it went for the goats cheese with fig. It was amazing!!!! Menu had lots of great combinations of toppings. Garden...is lovely when the sun is out. Seemed like lots of locals in there as everyone was talking to each other and had a lovely atmosphere about it. Will definitely be back and will tell friends to visit also. Keep up the good work.More
