My daughter loves strawberry ice cream, so we stopped here every day we were in Springdale (except Tuesday, when they are closed) for an after dinner treat. I enjoyed the fudge and spouse enjoyed the chocolate bear claws and turtles. I also appreciated that they asked customers to wear masks. I found the prices to be reasonable give the town.

After hiking at Zion, we stopped to peruse the shops in Springdale. Eventually, we ended up getting some ice cream at the Springdale Candy Company and sitting outside to enjoy more time looking at the scenery and eating ice cream. There wasn't a vast selection of ice cream flavors, but we were able to find a flaovor pleasing to the palate. Due to COVID, no sampling allowed.

My family and I were starting our Utah National Parks hiking adventure. We stayed and a great little hotel (Bumbleberry separate review). We were a block from this store across the street from where we at supper (Zion Pizza & Noodle Co separate review).
While we were waiting on our food, we went over picked up some drinks and bakery/candy stuff for desert. It's a family owned store and you could feel the love when you walked in. While we ate our sweet stuff watching the sunset we could see into the store where the family was cooking, baking, and preparing fresh goodies for the next day.

Locally owned shop. We enjoyed our ice cream but what really hit home was the kindness we saw. We were finishing up outside enjoying the magestic Zion view. The owner had locked up and a group arrived a few minutes later. Did he ignore them and go home? Nope, he turned the lights back on and said “ Do you need some ice cream”. What the world needs is more people like the owner of Springdale Candy, and more ice cream of course.
Highly recommend.

I was nearby at the Worthington Gallery and asked one of the staff where I could find some good ice cream. They directed me to Springdale Candy Company. The store had a variety of flavors. I got a double cup of chocolate. It was very good ice cream.

We happened to be visiting Zion/Springdale during a 2 hour power outage. We were dying for ice cream after eating leftover peauts and crackers we had in our backpacks.
My husband called and got the owner and asked if they thought theyd be able to open. The woman said she and her husband were going to within the hour. They ran home, got their own generator, and opened up!
A long line formed. The husband scooped the ice cream, while the wife rang everyone up.
Super efficient and much-appreciated and the ice cream prices and sizes were really awesome!
I'd really recommend patronizing this place. The owners are caring, dedicated, friendly people who know who how to run a business!
They came through and went the extra mile when visitors/tourists needed it most.
5 stars!

Nice chocolates, ice cream and candy choices. No seating indoor but cute seating outside. It was upper 90's when we were there so we chose a location with indoor seating. Also did not see prices listed anywhere. I like to know how much something costs before I order. Looked but did not buy.

This shop had one or two customers in it as opposed to the shop across the street. Also, this shop’s prices were about 50 cents higher. The Covid restrictions were being lifted in Zion so no masks required anywhere, but we were told we had to wear masks in the shop or leave, which stunk after being vaccinated and enduring the pandemic. We left and had delicious ice cream at the shop across the street which didn’t require masks. Woohoo!!!

After a hot day of hiking in Zion, we wanted a sweet treat. The couple working were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The ice cream was delicious and they had lots of unique flavors.

We were hungry for ice cream after a full day of hiking/walking at Zion. This was rated #1 on TripAdvisor and was just a couple of doors from our hotel on the main street. Not very big but 3-4 tables on the sidewalk. Delicious ice cream. Good variety of flavors. Either in a cup or a cone. It hit the spot for us. Also sells a variety of candies and chocolates if you’re hungry for that but we passed.

Milkshakes are delicious! The homemade chocolates are as well, but are expensive. There is no place indoors to enjoy your shakes.

We stayed in Springdale for a week during our honeymoon, and one of our nightly rituals was to come to Springdale Candy Company for our post-hike treats. They have a great selection of candies, caramel apples, chocolates, sodas, sweets, and other fun creations. Some of my favorites were the pecan turtles, dark chocolate-covered Nutter Butters, and the dark chocolate-covered Biscoff caramel sandwiches. Their prices are also incredibly reasonable; they could charge twice the price and it would still be absolutely worth it!
The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming -- on my wife's birthday, Kim even made her a custom Biscoff-coated caramel apple!
We also tried the ice cream a couple of nights before we left, and wished we had done so earlier! They have a great variety of custom flavors (I got a scoop of Dave's chocolate green chile, which was an excellent sweet heat, and came back later for the "jolted cow", which was an excellent espresso mixed with brownie chunks); one scoop was just the right amount to enjoy while walking around town.
Truly, this shop is a must-visit during any trip to Springdale.
