they did not take reservations for less than 6 so a wait. when we asked if we could have a drink while we waited the answer was no which is Utah law but the message was unplesantly delivered. However, ate at the, wine is expensive but good, bison carpaccio was great with their homemade pretzel. soup was outstanding. service as terrific but you need to remember they mix drinks in a separate room so bar not evident.

We ate here 2 nights out of three. Sundays they are closed. Reservations are not taken for smaller parties. So if you want to eat at 5 I strongly suggest you get there at 4:30 PM and get in line or start the line as we did. The view from the patio is exquisite. The entire dining experience was outstanding. I enjoyed the nonalcoholic Virgin River Mixberry Mocktail both nights. So refreshing. Hubby really enjoyed the Oktoberfest Draft both nights. Hubby also had the Pork Porterhouse both nights and really enjoyed. The first night I had the Roasted Chicken. So delicious. The second night I had the Lamb Bolognese. Although I enjoyed the entree it was a little heavier than I had hoped for. The chicken was filling but not as heavy. One night we had the fruit crisp and it was delicious. The second night we had the chocolate mousse cream puff. It was outstanding. I could have licked the plate. So decadent. The entree presentations were wonderful. Food was serverd warm. Waitstaff was helpful and did not rush you. We were very thrilled we ate there twice. My only complaint is I thought the coffee was a little pricey. $4.50 a cup. It did come in a cute French press but I still thought that was a little steep. No pun intended. This is THE PLACE to eat.

Excellent Food and Friendly staff. They would not take reservations for under 6 people so we sat at the bar, which was fun talking to the staff! The food was delicious and fresh, a bit slow on the service but they were quite busy so understood and not a problem for us. The only discomfort was that the restaurant was very crowded and not very covid friendly. No mask-wearing by the staff. I totally get the restrictions are different in Utah, but the restaurants seemingly was mostly visiting tourists probably not from Utah. Other than that, and if you're ok with no masks (indoors) it was great!

We raced over to Kings Landing after a long day at the Narrows to catch sunset for my 35th birthday dinner. We got there around 5:30pm and were told they wouldn't seat anymore people outside until the dining room was full and they'd start a waitlist around 6:15pm. So people who care about their health risk and can't eat inside are penalized with long waits? We waited outside and made friends with another couple also waiting. At 6pm, they told us they'd start a waitlist. We were finally seated outside and once seated, it was a great experience. The food was delicious (that pretzel is heaaaaven) and the cocktails were great! Once we got over our initial frustration with the bizarre seating policies, it was a great experience. If you are only interested in sitting outside, either get there right at opening, or you're better off waiting until after 6:30pm

During the Covid-19 pandemic, my husband & I are only dining outdoors. This bistro has figured out how to make outdoor dining amazing. Seating is first come, first seated, so arrive early! No worries, the restaurant has a very pleasant garden waiting area...benches, bird feeders, flowers & lots of song birds! The outdoor dining area overlooks a large expanse of lawn with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. A nice touch was the soft background music. We started the evening with strawberry mojitos. The wine list was decent. For dinner, we ordered the amazing Bison Carpaccio for our first course. My husband chose the Roasted Chicken Breast and I ordered the Pork Porterhouse for our entrees. We loved both dishes. The salads & entrees were generous portions allowing us to take home leftovers and leaving room for the decadent Tiramisu. The staff were excellent. To top off the evening, Chef King stopped by our table and chatted. A perfect ending to a perfect night!

Since we were staying at the adjacent hotel and this place came highly recommended by locals we gave it a try for dinner and were treated to a delicious meal.
Started with the Octopus which was cooked perfectly, then the Pork steak which was perfect, and the salmon.
Everything was served beautifully.
Highly recommend.

The waiters and hostess were great.
They take your temperature when you first walk in which make you feel comfortable. The staff all wore mask.
Food was excellent. I ordered chicken and it was cooked perfect crispy and yet tender and not dry. My husband had the Ribeye steak and that was also excellent. Drinks were strong and good.
The desert I had was cheese cake with cherries on top Omg it was so good. Still thinking of the desert.
The view was beautiful and relaxing.
When we go visit Zion we will be definitely dining here again.

Our experience here was excellent! My husband had the pork porterhouse and it was very tender and full of flavor. I had the roasted chicken which was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. We highly recommend the carrot cake as well. Our server was very efficient and attentive. This is a great place to end an amazing day of hiking in Zion!

The setting is casual and informal but the food and staffing is top quality. Creekstone Farms meat, fresh vegetables, excellent wine list. You can tell there is a real chef in the kitchen. Staff is energetic and professional. They don't take reservations but if there is a wait for a table you can sit comfortably in the adjacent hotel lobby.

This bistro is attached to the Driftwood Lodge. It has a pleasant setting, with indoor and outdoor dining. The service was a little slow (not a big problem as we were in no rush). I chose the bucatini bolognese, which was excellent. My husband chose the pork porterhouse, which was basically a rather uninteresting pork chop. The prices were rather high.

The service was rude, more than one staff member. The burger was super salty. I added $9 chicken to my salad and there were like 5 small cubes processed pieces. Drink service was slow too. Positives.... I’d say the Springdale Spritz was delicious. Weak menu and I wish I had eaten somewhere else... Unfortunately.... Could have been worse though.

Spectacular experience all around.
We arrived around 8:15 and the hostess reworked something to seat us in less than 5 min.
Service was excellent: attentive and thoughtful. I told our server I’m lactose intolerant, and the runners who brought food would affirm that dishes were dairy-free or how they’d been adjusted (e.g. cheese on side). They close at 9, but did not hustle us to leave and we were on the patio until past 9:30.
Cocktails were great, food was delicious. We had tow cocktails, the grilled octopus, green salad, and a special Bavarian pretzel. All wonderful, as was the strawberry-rhubarb crisp for dessert.
Highly recommend!

Arrived for dinner and we were escorted outside with a fantastic view of the gorgeous Zion mountain. Thomas, the owner came by and gave us some outstanding recommendations for wines that pared exceptionally well with our meal. My husband had the pork chop with chutney that was outstanding and I had the Salmon which was cooked to perfection!!! Thomas' wife is the pastry chef so we had to try a dessert. We ordered the Opera Cake that was layer upon layer of subtle crunch, cream, moist sponge cake and chocolate.
I highly recommend Kings Landing Bistro!!

My friend and I had a wonderful dining experience at King's Landing Bistro! (I'm sorry to see that some people had bad experiences as shared in their reviews). We walked in right at 6pm on Friday and were able to get a table. The host was friendly and seated us at a table on the outdoor patio that had a phenomenal view of the mountains. It was breathtaking! Our server was very friendly and we didn't have to wait for anything. The mocktail was delicious, we had the Virgin River Seasonal Berry Mint Mocktail. And we both highly enjoyed our food, we had the swordfish and a burger. We would highly recommend this as we had a great experience!

I was not expecting a first class meal anywhere near Zion National Park after seeing the slim pickings on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon but we were very pleasantly surprised. The menu, the service and the food were outstanding. Highly recommend.
