My wife and I ordered macadamia nut crusted fresh catch and filet mignon salad. The kitchen paid serious effort to them, and the server brought them quickly so that all detail of the dishes were vivid. We were totally impressed. The Sangria cocktail was flavorful and our server was very attentive and kind. The main dining hall is well decorated and the table spacing was generous.

We were recommended by friends to dine at Tommy's while visiting Honolulu over New Year and we had a lovely evening. Firstly we enjoyed cocktails at the bar, great atmosphere, and then we moved to our table. Our waitress Alexis was amazing, she explained the menu, assisted with our dietary questions (the menu has good gluten free options available) and our meals were most enjoyable. Alexis even made some suggestions on attractions in Honolulu we should try to visit which was most helpful. The restaurant was very busy however we still received excellent service and received our meals promptly. Would recommend Tommy Bhama restaurant if visiting Honolulu - need to book as it is popular. Top marks to Alexis for her excellent service!!

First night, great service, fantastic fall off the bone baby back ribs and one of the best salads ever, the Bungalow. Second night, more great service, the pork short ribs were fall off the bone delicious, the tamarind flavoured sauce just wrapped your mouth in pleasure and the beet salad was superb. Finished off with a very good key lime pie. The wine list was extensive enough to provide for all tastes. When back in Waikiki we’ll definitely be back.

We went to dinner 3 times and just loved the service and the food. On the first night we were served by Tyler who was excellent. He really knew his stuff and made some excellent recommendations about the menu and he didn't disappoint as the meals were fantastic. On the second night we were celebrating my wife's birthday on the rooftop and this time we had the privilege of Sean who really went out of his way to make it a special night for my wife and presented her with a birthday desert plate. On the third night we were on the rooftop again the night we flew out. Although we could see the fireworks live we could watch the display off the reflections from the buildings. Cant speak highly enough about the staff and the food.

Everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. Our first time here and we got a rooftop, street side view which was lovely. Sally, our waitress was the best. The food was dynamite! Island wings and hot bread as starters were so good (sesame ginger style). I got the fresh catch of the day (Opah fish), perfectly cooked and laid on top of a glaze which paired well with the fish. Hubby got chicken sandwich and son got the steak. They too were very happy. Everything was high quality and delicious. Overall a wonderful dinner on our last night on the island- thank you!

This location, in the heart of Waikiki, offers the very best in shopping, restaurant, and bar, over 3 floors all under one roof. The food is sensational, beverages outstanding and music is some of the best you will find. Amazing atmosphere and service. Don't miss out.

We always love TB and can count on great service and food. Decor, ambiance with live music very nice. We have been to other places like BLT, a block down but we like this place because they are unpretentious and similar to Maui TB with great aloha spirit. Servings are generous. Great tortilla soup warmed to perfection. Smoked ahi dip is out of this world and poke made fresh on ordering. Mahi taco with plantains are yummy. Filet is equally great. We love the cocktails, basil grapefruit and my husband says the best mai tai in the island.

We met some friends there and it was quite expensive but good service and food was great. My husband had a Caesar Salad and the fish tacos and loved them, I had the Bungalow Salad, which was good and not too large, our friends had the Mahi Mahi and enjoyed it. We will be back if we are in Waikiki again.

My husband and I had a reservation for 5:30. When we arrived, we were sent to the rooftop within 10 minutes, At first, we were led to a weird, crowded table squished in an awkward corner, which my husband declined. Then we were led to a perfect two-top in front of the live musician which we found delightful. The music was unobtrusive and perfect and we really enjoyed listening to him play. We ordered drinks: white wine for me and and old fashioned for my husband, both of which were very good. Appetizer: poke which was fresh and fabulous with flaky crispy tortilla chips and beautiful guacamole. I ordered the macadamia crusted fresh catch which had a lovely sweet sauce and a creamy yummy rice. My husband had...crap, I’m sorry, I forgot what he ordered! But he ate all of it and about a third of mine too so we did enjoy our food! The service was very good. Our server was attentive and never made us feel rushed. I would definitely recommend. Try for a reservation on the upper patio though, it was lovely!

Menu was great, service was excellent and our dinners were delicious as were the drinks. Very accommodating for unsatisfactory dish from the menu and requested change of the item. It is a great place to hangout with family and friends and enjoy a dinner. Free dessert in a classy way to say sorry for serving unsatisfactory dish. Recommend booking to get a nice spot on a rooftop! Good food with a great view and pleasant live music. Can't go wrong with this place no matter what!

Terrific as usual! See my previous review! Could not go to Maui, Hawaii for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, so under the circumstances of COVID=19, we settled for the next best thing… the Island feel from Tommy Bahama’s… we picked up a feast at Tommy’s and went off to McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park to enjoy a 25th Anniversary Picnic – peaceful, serene, pretty, relaxing and other than birds accompanying us under the ramada, alone! For starters of warm bread rolls with a really tasty seasoned butter, then enjoyed a favorite of mine (my wife does not like Goat Cheese), an excellent Macadamia Crusted Goat Cheese with Mango Corn Salsa & Sweet Soy with crispy Flatbread - terrific. Other favorites had as an appetizer included a fab Coconut Crusted Crab Cakes of Lump Blue Crab, an incredible slaw, with Thai Chili Sauce; our main course was a delicious and perfectly prepared Macadamia Nut Crusted Snapper with an unbelievable Bungalow Salad, sided with Almond Rice and Grilled Asparagus; and Side of Crispy Tots – not that great, but a craving. We wrapped up this great meal with seasoned butter and Key Lime Pie. Again, terrific as usual!

We loved the food so much that we went back for a second night while in Honolulu. I had the shrimp taco with a side of coconut pineapple plantains, absolutely delicious. My husband had the coffee rub stake and Mahi Mahi the second time. We shared coconut shrimps as appy which was phenomenon and the pineapple creme brulee for dessert. The best dinner in Honolulu.

oh my goodness. what can I say except this restaurant needs to really step up their game. Prices are equivalent to high end in Waikiki and the food was at best mediocre. Management were sweeping floors with rubber gloves on while tables were full, poor staff were overwhelmed and undertrained. Manager said they were trying but were at early days...don't even ask for celiac items as you will get hospital food. oh wow. they were good enough to comp us the main meal but they have so far to go that it's almost painful. They have a high end price point but quality of food was like pub food.

The "snack" items are quality smaller dishes, but still large enough to satisfy. Well prepared fresh fish tacos are a must. The only criticism I have is the taco shells were dry cooked so they were a bit tough, but that is minor considering the overall freshness and flavors. The drink specials are priced similarly to other good restaurants and the mai tais were on point. Visit before it starts getting crowded again!

We were in Waikiki the first two weeks of November, and given our desire to dine outside (COVID safety) and the number of establishments that had not yet reopened, Tommy Bahama’s became a great ‘go to’ place for us. Each time, we had a very good meal in a comfortable environment. Filet tacos and mango chicken salad for lunch and both steaks (ribeye and filet) for dinner were solid choices. Pina Colada cake was worth taking back to the room. Great service too; friendly and attentive.
