This little known hidden restaurant is located in front of the Hilton Hawaiian Village (1831 Ala Moana Blvd #201). The restaurant itself seats maybe 30 diners? It's located upstairs and there is a sign in sheet before it opens. I found this out the hard but frindly way when I tried to waltz on up just prior to it opening its doors at 7:00AM. Guests are seated according to the sign in sheet which is a good idea. There policy is they will call your name and if you dont answer, they cross your name off and you have to sign up again. Its a no nonsense system but I guess it works for them. The service is fast and the food is very good from fresh fruits to cooked to order eggs. In the end we enjoyed ourselves and the bill was very reasonable.

Upon arriving we were met with a pretty long wait list and a corresponding large group of people milling around waiting to be seated. Given how small the restaurant is we weren’t hopeful of being seated anytime soon so we started looking for other options but as we waited we realized they know how to flip tables, what I thought would be an easy 30 minutes was 10 minutes. We were happy to get seated so fast, especially with a party of five but were concerned that if they were able to flip table a so fast that our tome at breakfast would be short and rushed. This thankfully wasn’t the case, our server was super friendly and helpful and though our food appeared super fast after ordering we never felt rushed by the servers. Food was delicious, really loved their French toast and my daughter who developed a love for açaí bowls during the trip was in heaven with the one they served here. Definitely would go back again.

Awesome food and great chill atmosphere. We went for breakfast with 11 people (including 5 kids) and they were great splitting the kids' french toast and there was more than enough to eat. Highly recommend you make this a place on your list to eat!

The food here was really good but the service was really poor. I got my dinner brought out about 5 minutes before my husband. My one daughter got her dinner about 10 minutes after my husband and my other daughter got her dinner about 15 minutes after I started my dinner! They did say sorry we have someone new in the kitchen, but not much of an apology. Also our salad came out in the middle of the meal instead of at the beginning. Drinks weren't great either. Feel like it might be a better destination for breakfast or lunch. Be prepared for good food but very mediocre service!!!

We had been recommended to this restaurant by a very nice Uber driver. Stating that it is locally sourced where possible and all fresh ingredients. After ordering a starter and two mains the starter we were going to share arrived. But within a few minutes my husband’s main arrived. After explaining that this was much too early and would be cold by the time he would be able to eat it, it wasn’t until we called over a second waiter to complain that the food was taken away. The same plate of food came back to the table after the starter was finished. The steak was still hot, onion rings cool and mash not hot either. By this time my shrimp arrived, the first couple were very hot but remaining 7 pieces were cool and tough, my rice was not hot either. We should have complained, but not wanting to cause a scene we left with out leaving a tip. Would not go back.

We read about this online as a much more reasonable breakfast option instead of those at the Hilton Hawaiian Village (much more expensive) We were not disappointed! We went twice and had the eggs Benedict with pork belly and the berry french toast dishes. They were both absolutely fabulously delicious! There can be a bit of a wait and it was easy to find around the corner from the Hawaiian Village resort. Good service also.

The Goofy Cafe & Dine was a wonderful breakfast spot right next to Hilton Hawaiian Village. It took about 30 minutes on a Saturday morning to get a seat but the food was definitely worth the wait. The Big Island French Toast with Hawaiian fruit and Hawaiian Omelette was perfect. The portions are just right and the service was quick. A must stop breakfast spot!

To start, the name of the restaurant was not a real ideal sounding place to eat for our first meal since he had traveled all day, "so don't judge a book by it's cover" The food and service were both great. I got the steak dinner with purple potato and onion rings. WOW! I was surprised at the food set before me. The steak was perfect, cooked in a sauce prepared there. The potato wasn't the best, kind of bland, but I was not disappointed. This trip was for my son's 12th birthday so I let me pick this place. I had to go back a couple of days later, it was that good. Small eating area, small restaurant inside but BIG on taste! Open air seating over looking the street and area from the 2nd story building.

The sign up at Goofys was quick and efficient— just put your name on the list. The wait was not awesome— 45 minutes, but to be fair, it’s a holiday weekend, so everything close to the resorts not taking reservations had a wait. Food was tasty and reasonably priced compared to other resort adjacent restaurants. I was impressed that for such a small establishment they were able to accommodate many needs including larger parties, high chairs, and more. Service was great— staff were respectful and professional and attentive, even while hopping to keep up with all the guests. Food is served on cool wooden plates and bowls, providing just a touch of character. I recommend trying the purple breakfast sweet potatoes. As a note, the bathroom is gas-station style where you take a key and go outside to a location across the way. I didn’t see any elevators or ramps, so my guess is the place is not handicap or walker accessible. That said, I look forward to coming back for another meal.

They charge a 5% kitchen / sanitation fee, of course they do. Bathrooms are outside of the restaurant. It’s on the second floor above some shops. It’s a cayenne color, sided building now. Sign in your party. They will call you when you are up. Need to shower your ID and your Vax card (not on your phone) or your negative covid test result. Ordered the POG fruit drink mix, pineapple juice, Goofy Hawaiian omelet, morning power salad and Rob Machado Açaí bowl. I wanted the bibimbap, but it’s only 9am here. There’s a small finch trying to find some food inside. The juices aren’t fresh squeezed at all. Açaí bowl is yummy. The honey, granola? Cocoa nibs, PB, fruit are a nice melody. The goofy Hawaiian omelet was good. The sausage pieces are big chunks. The taro English muffin is still dry even with just butter. The morning house salad is pretty good, they were out of pearl radishes and thus gave me more of the avocados instead, that’s cool by me, since avocados are always yummy. Dressing isn’t too bad. The açaí bowl is the best part of breakfast. Service was okay.

My family ate at Goofy's upon our evening arrival in Honolulu and thought it an excellent way to begin our trip to Hawai'i. Service was friendly and the food simple, but exceptionally good. The Acai bowl was large and topped with all ripe and tasty fruit (you'd think this would always be the case, but it's unfortunately not). Various tapas were great to share. In addition, it is well-priced (for Honolulu, that is).

This is our fifth or sixth visit to Goofy. When we are in Honolulu a visit to Goofey’s is mandatory. Every meal has been delicious. During the 2020 lock-down Goofey’s still provided great food for take away. I can recommend the Pork chop, garlic prawns, mahi-mahi and abolone. The service is always friendly. Planning to return next time we are in Honolulu.

We decided to give Goofy Cafe a try for breakfast based on the reviews, but we found that it is overrated! I tried to make a reservation online before hand, but they only take them for dinner. When we arrived I put our name on the sign up sheet outside the door. The wait to get in was 45 minutes and while we waited we noticed that there was a table just inside the door that was not being used to seat people at. We thought that due to it being a high traffic area as it's right next to the kitchen and the door, perhaps they didn't seat people there. Finally when our name was called, the waitress pointed to the empty table right by the door. I did not want to sit there for various reasons and I commented on how that table sat empty right up until it was our turn to be seated. I asked if we could be moved once a table upstairs in the main restaurant area became available. The waitress was visibly not pleased with my request. The waiter that took our order was friendly and pleasant. My husband's breakfast arrived in a reasonable amount of time and he waited a few minutes before starting, but then decided to eat slowly hoping mine would come along soon. My husband continued eating slowly and we patiently waited another 10 minutes before my husband called over the waitress. He asked when my breakfast would come and she went to check on it. She returned within a couple of minutes with my breakfast and it was cold. The salmon was overcooked and dry and I've never tasted such watery uninspiring hollandaise sauce ever! The photos show a thick creamy sauce and what I received was nothing like that. We live on the island and we won't go back, nor will we recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Goofy is a surfing term not the Disney character. Their motto is everything local, organic if possible. Half the price of a hotel breakfast and much better. French toast loaded with fresh fruits, eggs Benedict, goofy omelette all outstanding and for vegetarians there's a morning power salad. Get there at 6:50 to beat the social distanced 7 am opening crowd. Ask a local where the best place for breakfast is in Waikiki and this is the place they'll mention. Closed Tuesdays.
